Lets see, the person I bought it from had a trick sound system including an amp, he pulled it all just before I bought it, so it has a descent radio and the two door speakers, all the wiring is still in place. The A/c is pretty descent, I replaced the orifice tube last week because it was building too much pressure on the high side, its pretty decent now. If I was keeping it I would probably replace the condenser to make it even colder.

My father in law ran a diesel generating plant in Iowa, and the plant had more than one Chicago Pneumatic engine and a couple of smaller ones. However, the CP engines were nearly three stories tall, and the first time I went to see him, he was on a catwalk on the engine with a small oil can lubing the valve train cylinder by cylinder. He babied those engines, and I enjoyed the place immensely, going to see him there after driving 500 miles to see my then-fiance. Her folks, both gone now, are the folks you dream of for in-laws, and Cliff and I always enjoyed discussing the work he did at the plant. Unfortunately, the plant was closed and scrapped out, but there were dozens of these around Iowa, installed during the "rural electrification program" around WWII era, and all were built almost exactly the same. We even found another one when in another Iowa town for a wedding!

@@haraldpettersen3649 this was a power plant engine at a mine. Diesels are a different design with high compression and fuel injection. This engine can run on kerosene, gasoline and propane. When they picked this engine I be it had to do with cost first.

Its a fun plinker and not too bad for a first handgun. She has been dying to get her first handgun and it had to be a 9mm. Next time I'm at the range I'll have her test drive some higher end models and take it home. Too bad she isn't old enough for an EDC yet, but its a start.
@rbm61844 жыл бұрын
@@CraigShuman Have her look at a SIG P365MS micro compact and give it a test drive. I have one and I am impressed with it. Although my favorite pistol is a sub compact Bersa TPR9C. It has a really sweet trigger. Just two for you to consider. Whatever she gets just make sure its comfortable and fits her and she likes shooting it otherwise it will collect dust. Best of luck. BTW, Whoever taught her to shoot knew what they were doing. Nice to see her keeping those thumbs down on the frame away from the motion of the slide. It looks like all she needs to do is just tighten up her grip a little to keep recoil down. She is nice and straight and not leaning back but she could lean forward into it a little more to take the recoil. Nice shooting though.

@@rbm6184 we are pm the same page. I was looking at that and the Hellcat. Not only for her but for me as well. I carry a full size Kimber but its a little big for EDC concealed in the Summer in AZ

@@CraigShuman Well the 365 has more for the money than the Hellcat. I paid $525 for my 365 with the manual safety. It comes with tritium night sights and it has a chassis for changing out the frame if you want. The "live fire" trigger is the smoothest and cleaner breaking of any stock striker pistol I have picked up. You cannot judge the trigger by dry firing it. Dry firing it feels like crap. You have to shoot it. Despite its snappiness it has soft felt recoil for such a small pistol and its very accurate. You will pay $600 for the Hellcat and only get one more round capacity without night sights or modularity or as good a trigger. Shoot both and then make up your mind. I have a Kusiak IWB leather signature minimalist holster for my 365. I really like that holster. Very comfortable and its stiff enough to reholster. Take care. Here is a video comparison by two women on both pistols. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJSZi6CHn72EatE
