Would you consider the discarded card as part of the combo? The card you discard doesn't actually matter, Ophrys just needs to activate.

@@TheTikeySauce you used a lazuli to add back the discarded lapis and later used it as fusion material

@@Wooker That was more of habit due to playing the deck for so long. You would always end up with two Lapis in hand by the time you reach Phantom Quartz since Crystal Rose is in the combo line. If I didn't have Lapis in hand and had discarded Maxx "C" for Orphys instead, then I would have milled 2x Lapis and 1x Lazuli from Brilliant Fusion to add the first Lapis then add the second Lapis by milling another Lazuli because of Crystal Rose.

It's okay, but it still has the potential to brick really hard. I'm working on another build that is more consistent.

It bricks fairly often. The inclusion of the minimal Blue-Eyes cards helps a little bit since they all kind of help tutor each other out, but they're not as impactful as other engines. The Armed Dragon Thunder variant that Mauri9805 posted earlier in the comment section looks to have a much better grind game since that whole engine seems to flow a lot smoother, I've just been waiting for the gems to test it out.

Thanks! Gadarla is definitely a filler card for Bird-Up and negation boards since I currently don't have any UR points for Droplet or Dark Ruler No More on this account. I originally was playing around with Seyfert and Nebula in earlier builds but I'll take a look at them again along with Keeper and Dark Flare. Those videos are super helpful so I will study them as well. Thanks for providing them!

It's to prevent the spirit train from spamming too many bullets on screen. If you take too much time killing the spirits, it will become more and more likely that you'll get walled by the leading fairy and following spirit trains.

True, but ultra lunatic is just about surviving with the least amount of resources. Trance is only really used during impossibly high bullet density, such as the 2nd spirit train portion or all of Miko's non-Spell Cards to get past them.

My deck is designed to win game 1 since it's normally the easiest game to win for us due to surprise factor. For games 2 and 3, floodgates and S/T removal is sided in with lots of hope they don't end up bricking me. lol
