🎶 🎵 It can happen any moment, without reason or rhyme.. it might be right around the corner, or it'll come up from behind. A picture that I thought would fade , that I still clearly see.... when the thought of you catches up with me... It can happen on a *Sunday* drive the sky above a shade of blue Headin' down some lonesome highway, then you come into view.. Mile after mile goes by , but you're all I see When the thought of you catches up with me... When the thought of you comes to mind, it'll carry me away to a better place and time .. It can happen in the dead of night or any day of the week, ****sometimes you come find me when I'm in bed asleep, and I'll have that dream about you and I sure love what I see**** ....... When the thought of you catches up with me. 🎵 🎶 I love you C BP! 💙 💙 💙 💔 😢

This song is so brutal and raw. I simply can't listen to this without tearing up. Sadly, this hits too close to home for a lot of us. That last verse starting around 3:45 has some of the most powerful lyrics ever. Thanks for posting. I have the CD, but it's nice to have this incredible music at your fingertips. And thanks PG for all your music. Simply the best dark-emotional singer-songwriter ever.....

This song has a very special place in my heart. I started a job and the very first day there i saw the most beautiful kind hearted person i had ever seen in my life. Then i was married and she was also flash forward 2 years later were both single then so we went on a date to an Elvis impersonator show in Pigeon Forge Tn. From that time on we were inseparable for 2 or 3 yrs then we broke up . Saw her son about a year ago and he told me she had passed away shook me to the core when i got in my car to leave this song came on .Ill think of ter everytime I hear it . RIP Susan

Stubborn Love / Lyrics Main Results Caught again, your faithless friend Don't you ever tire of hearing what a fool I've been? Guess I should pray but what can I say? Oh, it hurts to know the hundred times I've caused you pain Though 'forgive me' sounds so empty when I never change Yet you stay and say, I love you still Forgiving me time and time again It's your stubborn love that never lets go of me I don't understand how you can stay Perfect love embracing the worst in me How I long for your stubborn love Funny me, just couldn't see Even long before I knew you, you were loving me Sometimes I cry, you must cry too When you see the broken promises I've made to you I keep saying that I'll trust you though I seldom do Yet you stay and say, you love me still Knowing someday I'll be like you And your stubborn love, it never lets go of me I don't understand how you can stay Perfect love embracing the worst in me How I long for your stubborn love It's your stubborn love that never lets go of me I don't understand how you can stay Perfect love embracing the worst in me And you never let me go, I believe I finally know I can't live without your stubborn love Source: LyricFind

I first heard this song in the movie " Walk on the Moon ". Such a beautiful song. I thought it was Joni Mitchell because their voices are similar. But when I researched it, I found Judy. The words and her voice, what a treasure.

30 years ago I was a stupid, young cowboy. I lost a love. Maybe it was just life, two young kids with too many moving parts to allow a life together. I don't know. But her memory finds me weekly. I wish her well. This song is near and dear. God bless David Ball for singing this song. Her memory does find me.

I lost my first son in 2006, he was 27 yes old, he was always the one that made me laugh, my other 4 children always said he was my favorite. NOT so true, I never in my wildest dreams thought I was gonna make it through that pain, well 2017 I lost my youngest son which was 34 yes old. No one can imagine how my heart was RIPPED OUT of my chest. Everyone kelp saying you are the strongest lady I have ever known, well I just tell people please tell my heart that. I pray for each of you that has lost a loved one. I'm looking to see them both and hold them tight. God Bless heart broken mommy. From Harlem, Ga.

My parents loved Judy Collins! This was one of my favorites songs that I hadn't heard in years! I was about 11 years old when I first heard it in my living room as my parents listened to her album and danced! Great memories music brings!
