the classes that were broken before have just been more pronounced in this patch they havent changed theyve always been this busted just a little stronger because everyone and their grandma has been bitched by ironmace and shat on by sdf

The question you should be asking is why are barbs getting buffed? What is it lacking to cause these buffs? The answer is range damage specifically bows and crossbows. That is fundamentally why barb is a fast glass cannon because if it wasn't think of how it would play in a trio. Gear change is amazing it's definitely the right direction for pvp. I hope socket gems and new secondary stats for pve only will be the answer.

I hated both patch 68 and 69. Patch 68 made gear too easily attainable, making losing and gaining gear not feel like a big deal anymore. And patch 69 just outright ruined the entire game , no need to explain why 😂

something im starting to notice is that all the solo players hate the patch and all the trio players are liking it

so basically they made old barbarian be back. Every patch i see is basically "delete every class update they did from the start of the game". Every time is the same, months of class balances, and then they go back to the start.

there's a balance here that the devs are missing. The gear change is bad, however a variation of normalizing the gear is what they need - this is just a way too steep. The bigger problem is their complete and utter lack of competence when it comes to balancing characters. The constant back and forth changes (quite literally) of balance and items is insane. Completely insane. The fact that they did what they did with barbs this patch is absolutely mind blowing. As far as making gear easier to get (patch 68 I think?), that seems wrong. I haven't played nearly as much as you (my job isn't to play this game). However, since playtest 2 I've sunk 100s of hours into the game. I quit temporarily at the end of last wipe. To me, when I join a wipe, getting a wild kit close to BIS on the second day isn't fun for me. If you know how to play this game, it is SO INCREDIBLY EASY to get good gear. It ruins the grind for me. So, I end up doing boring quests to upgrade my merchants and craftables, most of which are kinda broken/useless anyway (remember when you couldn't craft protection potions because white prot pots didn't drop in the game or were more rare than purples and they didn't fix it the entire patch?). I don't really have an answer for it, I haven't given it that much thought because I just play it, they aren't paying me. However, I feel like a competent developer could figure something out. Again, to me, the game is just way too easy and the gameplay loop gets very very very stale if you make this your main game. I have no idea how you play it so much. I'd absolutely despise the game if I played it as much as you.

Even though teaming is prohibited, neutrality or mutual avoidance aren’t against the rules. At least that’s what I’ve seen, I’m pretty new. Since teaming is two or more players collaborating to gain an unfair advantage against another player(s). So in high-rollers, hypothetically can’t people just mutually agree not to kill eachother?
