Once i discovered how to capture enemy vessles, it made ship building, which I had been putting points into, useless.

Yeah not only that but it can be quite expensive/grindy completing the challenges to upgrade your ship so I completely get that

You act as if 100 hours is a lot of time spent in a game, generally speaking 50-100 hours is one playthrough, RPGs are games that are meant to be played MANY times. I have played Morrowind, Oblivion, FO4, Skyrim FO3 and NV all of them with over 2k hours. And I still feel like there's more content that I don't know about in those games, I have 500 hours in Starfield and it feels like I just started playing.

Completely agree that 100 hours can be considered a miniscule amount of time for an RPG, but where I've had that amount of time in other Bethesda games it feels to me that I've explored enough to find that a lot of the quests have shallow depth and feel lazy. Maybe it's just not for me!

I think i agree with everything other than the main quests, the mission with the scavenger dude is amazing and the overall premise of the story i think is good, a few more set piece missions and i think it would be perfect

I definitely think I've been a bit harsh on the main quest but something just rubbed me the wrong way about collecting so many artifacts for a main story!
