The location is in the title. Most rivers in Victoria have carp in them, theres definitely plenty of them around

It's called snapper fishing because I was targeting snapper and i was targeting fresh bait for snapper. And in regards to if snapper is caught there, fish it to find out! Cheers.

Hey mate, the only fish I've ever caught at Eildon is carp. I too am on hunt for my first Eildon cod, I've been mainly fishing the Jerusalem creek arm.
