Wonderful conversation. Najwa as always extremely open and compassionate in a great team with the lovely intervier, showing her vulnerability. Very real and resonating with me.

Your videos are truly amazing and engaging! However, despite having beautiful and educational content, the number of views, subscribers, likes, and comments may be lower than expected after uploading - have you ever wondered why that might be? I can tell you that there are a few common reasons behind this, such as proper video SEO optimization, thumbnail strategy, and the correct use of content titles. If these issues are resolved, you’ll definitely be surprised by the results! I specialize in KZbin SEO and video promotion, and if you'd like, I can offer you a free video audit to identify the key growth barriers for your channel. If you'd like to speed up the success of your channel, feel free to let me know - I’d be happy to help!

Oh the hair twiddling is called trichotillomania. Other thing I noted from you both is it seems you both had childhood traumas (one severe family mental health challenge, the other experienced financial abandonment/stress) and these highly affected your responses towards prospective parenthood. For both of you, so sorry you had those difficult challenges as children. And it’s not uncommon, I have friends who privately shared similar stories of their childhoods, being more than sufficient to put them off becoming parents forever.

Loved this podcast, very interesting thoughts. Firstly, I believe that from the perspective of evolutionary biology (and I'm no academic ;), it's not a huge surprise there's an overly oppressive pressure put on women (XX chromosomes) to have children; and by extension, not having children is seen as not fulfiling your true biological destiny (secondarily our societal gender role). I know, not rocket science. But sadly as a female we are always left having to justify our choices, living in a patriarchy or where the male gender is the default gender and female the ‘other’ means that’s a daily reality.

God bless Kayla for being honest about her reaction. My brother took his life and I was doing everything I could for him, day after day after day- and I too reacted. I recognize its because the exhaustion and running out of ideas to save him. So tired. So so tired. Kayla's honesty is so important for this kind of conversation. Everyone suffers when the loved one is suffering. It becomes too much at times for everyone going through this.

you need to interview someone in the Intuitive eating field. They do NOT say "everything is good at every time as some believe. On the other hand, they DO teach about true nutrition and learning to recognize our true hunger pains are. Most of us don't know how to do that because "diet culture" has told us for many decades that they are bad and so we should ignore them. Also, we should restrict our food intake to be "healthy". the Diet industry has taken over medicine and the alternative health circles. this why these bad "medicines" are being promoted instead of learning about our true anatomy and nutrition needs. i follow Heather Creekmore here on KZbin channel "Compared to Who?" yes, she directs the podcast towards "Christian" women, but she is using Intuitive Eating principles to help them to create a balanced body image. Both Weight Watchers and other "Christian" weight loss programs have been hosted by churches --and even preached about by clergy-- greatly effecting several generations of church goers. Here some eposodes: xxx yyy zzz ...

So let me get this straight......the people telling us about all of this, is both the gender that wants communication, a (by and large)leader in the bedroom, sexual and material proof of being a desrrving partner for them, AS WELL. As the gender with the more negative emotional paradigm, higher anxiety, higher neuroticism, and more hormonal treatments over their lifetime than are neccesary as a regualr medical intervention? Hmmmmmmmm, seems probable theres almost one universal cause. And the actual solution. Is literally REAL communication from their part. Talking, not talking about talking. Or talking about how talking or not talking makes you feel. Maybe talk about the origins of some of or better yet, Majority of those issues. Mens only real problem is Testosterone, and thats to do with the modern injection of feaux-esteogens into the food supply in the west.
