About 60. It really depends on how dry or humid your environment is though.

Where do you get your small silicone mats? I looked everywhere on Amazon, but could not find the same ones you use or they where to big.

I can't remember where I got these but you can always get a big silicone mat and cut them to whatever size you want.

I’ve been very lucky. Other than the first time it didn’t pick it up but after I washed it with a bit of soap and nothing. All my issues have been user related. Not being firm and steady while placing the stamp is the biggest one. I’m glad to get the tips to get better at it!

I've never tried gel but it's an option for the base. I think there are special gel stamping polishes as well.

For stamping? There are special gel polishes I believe for that. You can of course use gel as the base and use regular stamping polish on top.

I've just tried this, the exact same way and I get even smaller cells than those...I would like bigger ones but it's impossible to get my hand on the dance legend or baroness x spot it in france :(

Question: Can I put a gel basecoat down, cure it, put the homemade decal on and topcoat with gel and cure in the lamp? I'm a nail tech and regular polish will not last through all I do, especially with my hands in water doing pedicures!

Assuming your base coat cures with a dispersion layer, the decal would need to be translucent enough to let the lamp light through to cure the dispersion layer. Otherwise.. it would kinda peel off I guess? Also, as you're probably aware, gel likes to stick to rough or sticky surfaces. We wouldn't want to rough up our decal by filing, since it might tear. I do have the "Caption Conversion" base and top coats from Young Nails that I've had success with other non-YN brands of air-dry polish. So that might possibly work, I think it's worth a try. Note: I'm a nail hobbyist, not a professional nail tech but i love thinking about questions like these =)
