Hi, I was making a concept car and really wanted to make it in cad. I was wondering if I could send you the different views I sketched and if you could make it into the car. I'm 15 and wanted this car model. Also if so would it be confidential as in could you not share it or do a tutorial with it as an example. Also whats the email so we can discuss and send the design photos confidentially. - Thanks

Can't make the loft on 19:07. Getting errors: Error: The operation failed. Try adjusting the values or changing the input geometry. Error: Cannot create tool body for loft. and Error: Closed profiles can not be coplanar for a loft.

Hey man. Thanks a lot for your kind words. Both options are good! Try and see if you can find a good apprenticeship program where you can learn the theory and application side by side! Best of luck

I am unsure why, but using the patch tool results in a giant bulbous shape to be produced, however, when I use the loft tool, using two of the lines as profiles, and the other two as rails, I can create the smooth bonnet shape we are going for.
@TEXDesignEngineering

Interesting! Thanks for sharing that. I do tend to switch between the two for the same reasons.

Hey man, awesome tutorials! I’m wanting to scale these down and split the components so I can 3D print them and maybe endeavour into building these into RC aircraft. Is there a reliable way to scale it all down and have you got any tutorials showing how to split each component down for 3D printing?
@TEXDesignEngineering
@TEXDesignEngineering Ай бұрын
Hey Jay. Thanks for your comment. I've done the same in the past. I'd suggest scaling the whole thing down to a specific size of your choice, and then splitting it up into smaller, printable pieces. I don't have a tutorial on it unfortunately!

I’m making a v tail and it an rc plane that I’ll 3d print. How would I make it so that the ruddervator can freely move and is not inside of the fuselage?
@TEXDesignEngineering
@TEXDesignEngineering Ай бұрын
Hey there. I suspect you can assemble it such that the main V and H tail are fixed to the aircraft body, and the elevators and rudders are cut out in real life, assembled to the H and V tails respectively using a RC kit. Have you looked up on how to make RC planes on KZbin?

Hi first of all thanks a lot for the video, really helped me out! I had a small difficulty in lofting the surfaces at the tail end and kept getting this warning "The loft would flow in an invalid direction. Try adjusting the continuity settings. If two adjacent profiles are on the same plane, try moving one of these." How do I fix it ?

MAN!! Thanks so much for providing all the resources on your website for free and organizing them. I'm not an Aerospace engineer but I'm a curious learner this is just Goldmine for me as I will be able to follow you and produce an exact replica of the aircraft. That's SUPER and I am fired Up to make this model. Thanks a lot!!. I just have one request If you ever have time and I know you are not a Marine engineer but if you could try to model a Container ship from start to finish that would be extremely sick. I love ships but there's nobody on KZbin who has modeled a full ship. I hope you're having a good day! Wishing you the best in Life.
