@@BoopPOPO hi there - we’ve had unify out for five years without these extended capabilities. We are working on a paid upgrade that will have these capabilities and a lot more coming out this year. It’s not as easy as it sounds when you are talking about a host that works with everybody’s plug-ins.

on Mac mini M4 I can no more choose activate the Master Presets. Maybe it's good to demonstrate the setings page complete in a video. all points with practical examples what they do. You always explain the Velocity what is good but it will be perfect such a video to make and integrate such videos in the Manual. This is helpful for non English speaking users. if you search at KZbin, you search like hell. Suggestion for next live stream: Setup of Razor Vocoder and Absynth Vocoder in Unify with the Combo Box for Microphone and recorded Audio. Both accept Audio Input with Microphone. Did ask this very often.

@@DavinciGirl 1 Unify does not have an audio input. We don’t plan on showing things this esoteric if you have found workaround with other plug-ins… Good for you.

@ ist not as much Esoterik John. You did yourself Patch such before Unify in yours Evil Razor Libary. As well in yours Absynth Libaries are such patches. Combo Box have an Audio Input and of you bring from yours old Libaries the Plugins inside they work. In Combobox appear with this Plugins a lot of different colored Outputs and it’s not clear what they do. And what is the best use. Maybe it’s the reason that a lot of Customer just do not know?

Cool library. Are there any plans to update the 3rd party synth libraries from VST to VST3? Was sorry to install all my VST3 and AU plugins on my new MacBook Pro only to realise the Unify libraries still require the old VSTs.

@jinxradar - we hope to do this in the future but it won’t be right away. It took a LONG time to build these libraries and its work that will have to be done again. Not looking forward to those days of manual conversion. Just install select VST2 for libraries you want to have in Unify for now. 🙏

WOW TYVM John! This is PERFECT for my purpose! I LOVE the 2nd option of importing the MIDI file because Studio One has a function that lets me 'explode' separate notes to their own layers. No duplicating of layers and removing unwanted notes for each track. This is all i need to know to accomplish my goal. I didn't know you could just DRAG n DROP the MIDI file like that! This is awesome to know John because now i can use all of the cool grooves you've created AND change them to suit my specific needs! Wow... i'm really mad at myself now for not asking you this question years ago! AAAGH! Thank you again John this is awesome! WOOT! Love your stuff man keep up the great work!

Hey John, I've been working on Minimal Audio's Sample libraries, turning them into Unify Libraries. Which I asked permission to do. The one I'm working on now is their Anomaly. It's got 103 Cinematic Drum Loops. They're top notch. I'm Recycling them. Last night I sat down with my MacBook Pro and tried editing them from my recliner while watching a show and it kept crashing, which that reminded me that it's not compatible with macOS Monterey. So that got me wondering. Are you using an older mac to do all your Recycle files? I use my PC, just glad it still works on Windows 11.

I'm using version 2.2.4 build 319 with my Mac Studio (OS X Sonoma 14.7.1) and it's still working fine - been recycling a bunch of things for an up-n-coming library. Sorry it's not working for you - are you using OS X 15 Sequoia? That might be the problem.

@ no it’s Monterey (macOS 12.7.8). I’ll look at my Recycle version. I just do it on my PC which has the larger screen then create a guru file to put them on my Mac. I’ll try a reinstall.

Hi John, could you please forward this message to the MP team: please implement the OSC Layers Rotate for the 4 OSC too? I am trying to recreate old Monopoly patches using the sync and x-Mod. And without simple OSC rotation, it’s impossible. It would also be useful to have a BYPASS ( to save on CPU) for Layer Sync/X-Mod and instead switch to a single Global Sync/X-Mod for all 4 Layers instead… bringing it closer to Mono/Poly Thanks John! Amazing work in sound design!

After so many years, this is the only new hardware synth that kind of comes close to the Access Virus Ti and Novation Supernova II , which are stil the benchmark VA synths for me. Nice work, but i want 5 octaves of keys with polyphonic aftertouch to go with it.

As brianmi mentions, I wanted to be closer to my family (mom/dad/sister/nieces). My daughter now lives in the San Francisco area so there was not much benefit to being in Portland. I was also tired of the weather there (2 months straight of rain a year for 18 years adds up) and ready for a change. It's been a great move for me and I see it only getting better in the years to come. Plus going on weekends to play rummy with my parents is priceless time that just couldn't happen if I still lived 7 hours away. Cheers!

Just bought them and already I love having them! I'd like to have say C-1 to B0 as keyswitches for the different mallet strokes on a bowl. I have two things standing in my way: 1. I don't know how to stop a low KS from sounding a note, since the samples are mapped over the whole range 2. I don't know anything about how to setup KS in Unify! ;-)

BTW Late to the party JL. the WA stuff is pretty good, but and inexpensive entry to getting to the same result without spending a ton. The Deres is pretty nice and also on sale. Kills hidden resonances and mud.

Hi From Ireland I will buying new Libuary later tonight by the way why not have a special like giving recognition to the sampled instrument the was broken as a sign of respect say some sort of some song and a recording as a form that instrument lives on And you must be so relieved it is sampled I think something should be done recognising it anyway thanks Happy Christmas
