Because you were there! A “ Geologist”that does not confess to the fact of God’s flood of the earth and the creation of of the earth, is lost. This gentleman is on the right track. We don’t know how old these rock formations truly are. Carbon dating is flawed AT BEST! It bases its findings on many assumptions. It so refreshing to see a Scientist who hasn’t been indoctrinated by the “Science community” God created and sustains His earth and His Heavens and His Life! We have no rights! We proudly claim we do. Why? Because God has given free will to Sin filled, human beings!

There's so much wrong in what this "naturalist" says. Can't carbon date stromatolites - they're too old for that technique. The book of Genesis is scientifically wrong. Stromatolites are not beds of slime that float around. I would have been better had an actual geologist been interviewed.

He also said the copper deposited into vesicles molten, which doesn’t make any sense. A magma that is 100% copper?

What's with all the Genesis references? Your geology is spot on. Are you pandering - or are you - a whacked out creationist? Did all this happened in the last 6000 year?

Man I can’t believe I had to go back 8 years to find a video I could comment on. I love the content from 906 outdoors. You guys should make a video on the Cannabis dispensary’s in the U.P. There’s also a place called Rare Earth Goods in Ishpeming that is my favorite restaurant in the entire U.P. Keep up the good work, I can’t wait to be smoking a joint on the shores of Lake Superior in Marquette next week.

OH Wow! One of the rare Geologist/Naturalist's to use Biblical creation to correctly and accurately date and explain the geological evidence. It makes it so much more believable to explain it this way than to say "300 million years ago" because it just sounds like they are just pulling numbers out of the air. Evolution and Big Bang are just theories. Wonderful video, very well explained.

When multiple, well-established facts all point to a single explanation, that explanation becomes a scientific theory. I do understand that many people will reject scientific facts that conflict with what they were taught by some old lady in Sunday school when they were eight years old.

I have a rock just like the one with holes in it from the Minnesota shore, some have Thompsonite and other minerals in them. Yea the bubbles do have a direction, never thought of them in motion but they would be. These rocks are from before the 5 ages of life where it tried to start on earth, oldest rocks on earth plus some other rocks thrown in randomly by the glaciers.

No need to go to Canada and put up with and help that punk premier spoiled brat. Saint Lawrence American side, or Black Lake, and keep that money in America and enjoy better fishing where for now at least you can still have your firearms. I stopped vacationing in Canada a decade ago.No regrets at all. Black Lake is just as nice, the Saint is better.

Absolutely beautiful craftsmanship in your landing nets! Your wonderful program brought back such great memories of my youth in the U.P. I'm a Yooper, born in Laurium, in the Copper Country. My father pioneered some of the first custom laminated fishing nets made in the U.P. in the late 1940's to mid-1950's. He had a woodworking company called Ames Mfg Co. also known as the Village Workshop on Pine Street in Laurium. He produced a variety of custom laminated fishing nets, and also custom laminated tennis rachets and hockey sticks. He used the same fine U.P. hardwoods; cherry, curly maple, "birds eye", woods with character. His nets were, like yours, functional pieces of art! My favorite model was the "Troutster". I have very fond memories of helping him in the shop. I still have a couple of his nets and have used them while fly fishing throughout my life. Once in a while I see one of his nets come up for sale on Ebay and at auctions of vintage custom fishing gear. I know the laminating process well and have always appreciated fine craftsmanship. Thank you for sharing your fine craftsmanship and triggering many fond memories of my boyhood. I'm now 75 years old and working on a memoir. I stumbled across your KZbin video while looking a photos of my dad's shop from the early 1950's. Thanks again and take good care.

you know I'm not trying to just go all religion here but when he's quoting Genesis it's Genesis is the funniest comedy in the bible. when it says that God created light and he created darkness and he had the darkness divide the light making it night dividing the days and he saw that it was good and then he made the Sun. I'll let you just think about that for a minute see if that washes with you

@@johncronin5311 no a fool is someone that believes that there's some God walking him or her through this life not letting them deal with more than they can handle. footprints in the sand. it's all feel good stuff but if you read the Bible you shoud not call anyone a fool because you have no place to judge anyone. and you just documented you straight calling me a fool as if that's not judging somebody. but it is and you want it as many people as you could to know that you are judging me. see Christianity is a convenient way to discriminate against people. remember you can only you think anyone is a fool if they're a non-christian. and you don't see the problem?

The Sun is not light, it only produces light. If you research the Big Bang, you will find that light was certainly made before the sun or any star...at least according to the most widely accepted theory, in fact, I have never heard of a Big Bang theory where the sun was made before light. I am not going to pretend I know the Bible and can defend it in whole...but I know some physics. In fact, thinking about it logically, wouldn't the writers of the Bible see this contradiction easily and simply write it differently. They could not have known modern particle physics. You make a strong argument for this part of the Bible. Further, it was Georges Lemaître, a Belgian cosmologist and Catholic priest that came up with the idea of a Big Bang.
