I'm in a keeper/auction draft/points league, where batting strikeouts are -1 and walks are +1. I have 3 pretty good offensive options, IMO. Mookie Betts(2B/SS/OF) for $57, Yordan Alvarez(OF) for $50, or Fransisco Lindor(SS) for $37. Starting budget is $260. I have to keep one of these 3 in order to keep Garrett Crochet for $22 and Devin Williams for $18. Appreciate your insight and content

Some of us play in leagues that actually do dynasty analysis, so the "buy older players at a discount now" thing only works for more marginal guys that aren't, you know, Henry. Their owners are already committed to riding him for another playoff run unless they get blown away. Increasingly I think people are realizing that dynasty leagues are wising up and solidifying the tiers of competitive teams in the league vs those trying to rebuild, and it's harder to find the random really good older player on a team that isn't just gonna ride them to playoffs runs.

I'm not as worried about the Eagles D-Line as everyone else, Daniels is a running QB. Why is it that Lamar Jackson is never considered at a significant disadvantage when facing a good D-line? Because he's dangerous on the move. How is this situation any different? Get Daniels out of the pocket, let him move around and buy some time. I have Washington covering spread easily and possibly winning outright. It's on Daniels shoulders, we'll see if he can bear the weight.

did my 1st best ball draft at Fantrax. 40 rounds, i took 19 pitchers, 7 or 8 closers. VERY happy with my draft. Had a choice in early 2nd between Skenes or Wheeler. I took Wheeler but if it happened the same way in my next draft, I would take Skenes. Like to have some variety, especially in best ball. Got Glasnow in round 10 and Strider in the 13th. WOW. Also took Bieber in round 38, maybe he can be OK nearing the final weeks of the season.
