You should understand yourselves as African and value what you have. Don't denigrate yourselves because the white came to deceive you. Be proud of your culture, customs, language and food. The White presented their culture in a colourful way for you to accept it but didn't mean the white man's culture was better than yours. Yes, your culture, language may sound strange and awkward to stangers, equally theirs will sound the same way to you. Before the white we were eating organic healthy food until they package diseased filled foods like fast food, canned foods etc. Let me tell you about the reason people have started eating our popular waakye on leaves, all plants medicine when applied well. Our forefathers had their own for of medication, natural plants, and white condemned them saying it was unhygienic but it is same plants they extract medicine from. We understand that the process of applying these medicine can be dangerous and fatal but we can equally improve upon it. Every food our forefathers ate, there was elements of medicine in it. Ghanaians, we have our ethnic, tribal, religious and political sentiments but it in these things, we are connected.
