😢😮 Hi Robert, I see you got a 20-second video of this. I saw this tank come out of the ground last night on KZbin. There's almost a 2-minute video of it. Boy I'm surprised pressure put pushing on a tank from the bottom and there's 5 in of concrete on the top. I'm surprised the tank didn't blow up from the bottom of the ground boy. What a bad thing that would have been. I never seen a fuel tank that big 24,000 gallons come out of the ground like that boy that water really pushed that up and only had like 400 gallons of fuel in it. They show the guy in the longer video. He just drove by in the the ground a couple of minutes earlier then the tank came out. Thank you for posting this short video on KZbin. Good luck to you.

This is why you never smoke around a gas station! The vapours cannot be seen until your surrounded and covered in flames! Whenever I see some complete idiot with. Cigarette dangling from his mouth? I just have to wonder ? How a person can be so reckless 🤔😳😖

What violation can a gas station owner face if he keeps his sump monitor sensors above 4 feet up and not position down underground where is required to detect leaking gasoline.

IF they are using the sump sensors as part of their release detection then this would be a violation of 40 CFR 280 release detection requirements.

Make sure you use an 11/16 wrench (most of the time) to turn valve back on so you don't break solder weld on lever!

I got a quick glance of the meter inside the dispenser and my guess is those are Gilbarcos. I've been out of the service station business now for several years. To give you a hint how long, I remember the mechanical computers made by Veeder Root.

Hi Robert thank you for your great help to all of us... I have two diesel tank Tank 1 10,000 gallon Tank 2 12,000 gallon They both are manifolded.. Question is why my TLS 350 for some reason don't pass the test NOV , DEC, JAN , FEB colder weather's conditions... All other months it does pass.... I tried daily test from 2:00 am to 4:00 am I tried csld ..... Today 11/22/2021 I change the condition from moderate to extreme... Please guide me ahead....

Limesh, I am not familiar with this alarm. I would give it a few days. If it doesn't reset itself I would ask the Fuel technician to look at it the next time they are at your location.

This is a great question. We have had lightning take out a lot of our ATG's. I think you can put a surge protector on the building. You need to ask an electrician though. I'm only repeating what I've heard.

Does the Veeder-Root TLS 350 provide an API to Get water reading, tank level, Continuous Statistical Leak Detection reading or Alarm data? If so, is there any method of automating the updating the data to a Verifone POS? Great job on the Video!

Your question is multi-part, so let me try to answer in order. You can view the ATG through the internet. Veeder-Root has Insite360, there's other services that do that also like Canary, Titan, etc.. I don't think the Verifone and V/R interact at all. I am not a technician so I'm not 100% reliable in this area. But why would a POS need to know leak detection data? They may share some inventory data, but I'm not sure.

If it is an alarm that shows a leak they will care when they start losing fuel and have to pay to clean up the contamination. Plus the fines he can get from the local environmental authorities. He should call a technician to address the alarm.

I forgot to reply to this. Sorry. The tank dimensions are going to be the data input from your tank chart. If you know the manufacturer of the tank you can find most tank charts online.

You can silence an alarm, but it takes a Tech to clear them. Sometimes they can walk you through it over the phone.

You need to get a technician onsite. Either your leak detector broke or you have a line leak.

I know it’s been four years but for anyone else. You backup to main screen. Press mode 2x, function 6X, step 2x, then enter. Make sure nobody picks up a nozzle while the first test is running. When it gets to test 2.0 your pumps should dispense again.

You all need to do what the man says and call a technician to troubleshoot your alarm conditions. You are going to call one anyway and it will cost you more money when you do if you are playing around in your system setup.

So I accidentally ran a leak test during hours of operation and i ended up getting the sudden loss alarm for t1 (regular) and t3 (diesel), I do not actually have a leak it just screwed with the sensors, i have the machine set to do a csld test every night, so I figured after a night and a new test the alarm would go away but it hasn’t, is their a way for me to reset this light? FYI I’ve already tried the red button haha

Sorry, I was in Korea the last month. Hopefully your problem is fixed. I would pick a slow night, shut the dispensers down and run another test. I thought the light would clear once you passed a valid test.

My veeder root printer is not print ,that mean the paper comes out with out any written report. What shall I do?

It could have the wrong paper type. OR the paper is in backwards. OR the printer communication module is defective. Or it's a defective printer. Play with the paper first. Try a new roll and make sure it is in correctly. If that fails, you'll have to get a tech out to look at it.

That means one of your sensors has failed somehow. It either has no power, broke or the wiring to it broke. You should call a tech out to repair the equipment.
