interesting question. i dont know! i have hypermobility and flat feet. for the past year i have been wearing barefoot shoes with a arch support just in the back half of the shoe. if i have hypermobility and flat feet is it better to take the arch supports out and just wear barefoot shoes? thanks so much x
@KK-ek4osКүн бұрын
Human beings are supposed to be walking barefoot on uneven surfaces… sand, dirt, rocks… Feet are never meant to be for Flat surfaces… As we evolved… we sought comfort and subjecting feet to various stresses… I would prefer thin leather encasing… I like the “ bare foot “ foot wear..

These exercises sound promising! Which one do you find the most effective for providing immediate relief from knee pain?

"To prevent back pain, learn to lift and bend properly. Follow these tips: If an object is too heavy or awkward, get help. Spread your feet apart to give you a wide base of support. Stand as close as possible to the object you are lifting. Bend at your knees, not at your waist. Tighten your stomach muscles as you lift or lower the object. Hold the object as close to your body as you can. Lift using your leg muscles. As you stand up while holding the object, do not bend forward. Try to keep your back straight. Do not twist while you are bending to reach for the object, lifting it up, or carrying it.' This is from a Medlineplus, a governemental medical website. It took five minute to find. As a nurse we're taught not to use our back to pick up stuff. Always use the thighs. Please teach yourself before trying to teach others dangerous stuffs.

Never pick out stuff on the floor in this position you're hurting your back crushing the cushion disk in between you vertebrae.

That’s very outdated information and completely inaccurate. There is no quality scientific data to back up these claims. However there is a lot of peer reviewed science to show that fear mongering normal functional movements can lead to chronic pain.
