Hi , this is an expansion pedal with 2 sensors in it. You can use these for expanding the footdrum. Any piezo-based stompbox should work for that. I make these in case also. Thanks

How does this feel to play, is there any fatigue issues with having nothing to hold up your leg like there would be or a normal drum?

Hi there, it is very comfortable to play because you don't have to hit hard. My Buddy who plays with me can play for 2-3 hours without stopping. But ovviously it's a bit a Gim

Ciao , questo purtroppo non sarebbe possibile. Pero si puo collegare un altro pedalino esterno. In teoria qualsiasi stompbox basata su piezo si puo collegare alla presa per pedali esterni. Magari potresti mettere il rullante su quello. Altrimenti io faccio anche un pedalino passivo a due suoni da collegare. Poi ci sono ovviamente i modelli piu grand e estesi da considerare. Grazie per l'interesse.

I suoni sono sempre provenienti dal Sound-modul integrato nel Four on the Floor e si possono anche personalizzare. ( non caricare altri sample propri però )

Have owned one of these beauties for a bit over a month. So far have been extremely pleased with the craftmanship, feel, and sound of the Floordrum. Of course you can't play like a drummer, but you can create some steady beats and your own type of fills. And with the variety of instrument pads, it's quite easy to pivot your ankle to hit the different pads. The guy that makes them was really easy to communicate with and I had no problems in delivering to Australia. 5/5

That is nice. I would love a version that just had Snare and kick but, you would trigger a shaker or closed hat with both kick and snare. So basically you just get quarter notes on the hat/shaker. Just boom, Crack. That beat is universal and can work on something with 8's on the hat and also will work with shuffle. All beats accept for waltz 3/4 and 6/8.

@@floordrum oh please! I have been searching for that solution FOREVER. THe Ltek and those used for the Dance Dance revolution, hooked into a Roland drum sound is the thing make the up down right lift signals go to a drum sound sequencer. I have even thought of having one of your units, with a platform around it, so i can STAND up. but the spacing for the actuator pedals is too close.

I got my "the floor drum" yesterday and in less than one hour I played the first songs with it. And in that hour I designed the layout of the kit that fits best for me and checked out the concept of the sound module and how it works. This piece of musical instrument is really intuitive thus easy to work with. And. With the floor drum you have a whole drumset at your feet with countless possibilities in all directions, choice of sounds, layout of the pads, and most important you can taylor dynamics, individual loudness, the layout of the pads to your need, to the way you tap and your ergonomic demands. The switches are at the right place, the craftsmanship is superb, the quality of both electronics and wood is outstanding. Seit kurzem kann ich ein solches Floordrum mein Eigen nennen und ich bin komplett begeistert! Hier hat ein Musiker und Ästhet ein wahrhaft bühnen- und praxistaugliches Instrument entwickelt, das aus meiner Sicht keine Wünsche offen lässt und zudem auch noch schön anzusehen ist. Es ist ergonomisch konstruiert, so dass die Füße alle Pads bequem erreichen und auch in den Pausen problemlos auf dem Board verweilen können. Die Pads sind frei belegbar, sprechen leicht an und erlauben ein dynamisches Spiel. Die Sounds sind sehr realistisch. Die Stromversorgung des Boards erfolgt über ein gewöhnliches Druckerkabel, so dass man mit einer Powerbank sogar netzunabhängig ist. Für den Transport empfiehlt sich eine pedalboard-typische Tasche, die jedoch nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten ist.

Hi , No , the left Footpedal is not included . It's only to show that you can connect other piezo based stompoxes to expand it. I also build these although they are not on my webpage yet.

Hi there, yes it does . You can assigne a midi number to each pad to trigger a certain peace of a midi drum kit. This will be stored together with the individual kit. So you can make up to 30 differen settings with all kinds of sounds . Is the guy in the video the inventor, I hope he is because he is a cool dude with a cool product. This is way better than any drumbeat machine because you have to learn how to play it and it ain’t just some computer doing work for you. Up yours A.I. analog forever! Or, what ever, who cares at this point.
