I just bought Mountain's Flowers of Evil in vinyl....Oh lord if I still had my stern rig from the 70's the whole 4 block area would be listening to Side 1 over and over. RIP Leslie West.

life regret - several years ago big Leslie was appearing at the Ridglea Theater (an old movie house) in Fort Worth for.................10 DOLLARS! And I had the freaking flu of all things. Still pissed.

I commented eight years ago, and I watched it again now, and say it again: Best live version of In The Clouds ever! The drumming of Matt is perfect, Billy tight as fack, bass and other guitar perfect, and Ian in best form. Beautiful live (hard) rock as it is meant to be!

why?? the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has, for some unfathomable reason, refused to honour Leslie West-even though Mountain has been eligible for induction since 1996. He should have been inducted that very year, but instead he’s been overlooked for nearly a quarter-century. 👆🏼#RockandRollHallofFameWHY ??????????????

The ! Beast of the ! Best. I saw mountain twice in around 1970 ;; 1971. Saw an heard him attack the guitar and play this song and with the add on licks. Unbeleable showman. Really. With the old school sunn amps and bottoms. What memories with my friend Luca ! Bratzi.

Leslie was a great guitar player and belted out lyrics like Little Richard, man that is pretty impressive and the only other one was Terry Kath who sang like Ray Charles and could he shred that Fender!! 1970 what a line up of great guitarists with a list i aint got time to be typing up.

I agree with the Terry K. comparison...loved watching him play and lost all interest in Chicago after his passing...saw Leslie and Mountain many times and they were incredible....
