It sounded like a water drip to me at first so I'm all over my house looking for where the leak is. Stupid can is still ticking away. Checked for a drowning bug, nope. Bubbles? Swirled it around a bit to see if it would change or stop, nope. Still a rhythmic tick...tick...tick...tick on and on and on.

Yup. I thought I was going crazy last night when my beer was "ticking"....almost as if counting perfect seconds like a metronome. I haven't moved it from my nightstand. It's been 24 hrs and still going....

I have a can of beer sitting here that has been ticking for 16 hours now. I had only taken a a drink or two out of the can before I noticed it. Then I gently pushed it aside and opened another beer because I was curious about this one and wasn't sure if I should drink it. I was surprised when I woke up this morning and found that it was still ticking. It's been ticking non-stop all day so far.
