Thank you. I often struggle with my assurance. All my prayers are always just "God, please save me. Please forgive me." Over and over again. I never feel saved. I read Matthew 7 and I'm terrified that I'm one that will hear "depart from me." I'm terrified that I'm falsely assured. I watch John McArthur and Voddie Baucham and I'm terrified that, no matter how much I want to know Christ, I'm not one of the elect. That God just created me to throw me into hell. Esau couldn't find repentance and neither can I, is a deep fear. I came across your video today. And as I watched it, two of the signs you listed made me wonder. Do I really hear? Do I really? And do I really love Christ? I know I'm terrified of God. I have the fear of God. I love hearing God's Truth. But is my fear from love or just fear? Your closing statement; "How do I know if I'm born again? If you believe in Jesus Christ. (I do!) If you love Jesus Christ. (I think I do, I struggle with the definition of 'love' here.) If you come in faith to Jesus Christ. (I do!)" This helps me. But, I know I'll wake up tomorrow doubting again. For now, thank you.

My GOD gave me two Precious Sparrows , one died in my hand the other was a miracle that came to me in a broken egg. She was my baby for 15 1/2 years ? She was a friend to a lot of people until she passed On November12, 2024 and flew back to heaven , she was a beautiful light in my life and she is forever in my heart! Our God is in charge❤ he sent the first Sparrow with a message to let me know I was going to experience hardest time in my life, the second sparrow came to give me hope and comfort to let me know he loved me , her name was Tiki and she was a true inspiration to a lot of Gods people, she will be remembered by many of amazing people who loved her, thank you for speaking on Gods words about his beloved Sparrows❤

Life saving message! Most people in church do not know this because it isn’t taught and people do not know the Bible or the God they say they serve.

Shared this message with friends around the world . Blessed to live near Stone Bridge and Jonny. His description of Satan is a rare gift in expository form. Along with his searing interrogation of our love for Christ. 40 minutes of your time well spent.

Stick to the narrative Jonny, the Word is the narrative, not stories, polls or conjecture... and don't forget predestination and the fact that everything which happens glorifies God- even Hell is an eternal monument to His glory 🙌

Dying in your sin ... that's God's will, righteousness, no tragedy, righteousness! It is interesting that sin is usually referred to as singular, yet in this case, Christ is addressing a plurality. Yet when used regarding one person, sin is singular.... we must be exact, not?

Great sermon. You’re words brought peace to my heart. The battle with the doubt of my salvation is very heavy on my heart. The words of Dr Sproul were liberating. Thank you for reminding me that Jesus is holding tight unto me. I am His and He will not let me go…Its about His strength, not mine. God bless you. So glad I discovered you on KZbin.

"The whole of Christianity stands or falls on the deity of Jesus. The world's most important question is "Who is Jesus Christ?" and the most important question that you could ever ask the man in the mirror is"Do I know him?" - J. Ardavanis I have been in my fair share of churches and heard my fair share of sermons over the years. Yet, this is only the second pastor I have ever heard preach like this about Jesus. For those that believe He was a real person that walked the earth. Jesus is either crazy, a liar, or God. He cannot just be a good man with some good things to say. He said He is God. If that is not true then he is insane or a liar. He said He is the only way to the Father. If that is not true then he is insane or a liar. He said the one who believes in Him will have eternal life. If that is not true then he is insane or a liar. All glory be to Christ our King!

"We become legalist when we view God as restricting and constricting rather than good, gracious, and kind." "I've made the parallel between legalism and satanic false religion because this is the way that Satan has always worked, and if he can't pull you out of the church he just wants you to be a legalist inside of one. He's going to add and distort what God has said." "I would say this if you think that God is more pleased with you because you do drink and enjoy your Christian Liberty you're just as legalistic as the guy who doesn't drink thinking that he's earning the favor of God by not drinking." - J. Ardavanis Amen!

"what you have here is a father that believes the word of Jesus. Before they(the family) had ever seen the signs of Jesus here's the father who believed the word of Jesus and his faith is in the right order." "at the end of the day Faith is not an expression of our personality. It is an expression of our trust in God's word. And can I tell you something about genuine Faith as we observe here in this passage? Sooner or later, genuine Faith always becomes vocal." "It is a general truth that in a culture where the father is passionate about the words of Jesus it does affect the household. If you want to change a country you have to change the households. A lot of that starts with dads who believe in the words of Jesus." - J. Ardavanis Can I get an AMEN!!
