That's crazy to think a car capable of 180mph+ top speed has a rear trunk spoiler that's just held on by 3m double sided tape... 😮 I'm a bit old school and dont trust that the 3m by itself can hold down the spoiler... but ain't like there's another choice...

was there anyway to tell the sti shifter apart from the wrx shifter when they were out of the car? im trying to buy one but i can’t tell if its the short shifter or not please help!!

They looked almost identical out of the car. The only difference I can remember is the short shifter was physically shorter than the stock WRX shifter. Obviously the throws are shorter but you won’t really be able to tell if the shifter is out of the car.

Keep in mind that in future GM vehicles neither Android auto nor Apple carplay will work. GM has announced that they are discontinuing all support for those, because they are trying to milk more money out of you for subscriptions by locking you into their software. Send them a strong message, don't buy GM

Ford announced that they will continue to support Android auto. GM announced that they will not allow Android auto in their future vehicles. GM will not get my business. I already pay a subscription for my cellular data, I don't need a separate one for my truck. Yes Ford has some subscriptions, but my buying decision is based on whether I need any of those subscriptions. The Ford still does everything I need without any subscriptions, whereas the GM does not.

It is based on an onstar data plan. You can negotiate like I did with onstar and buy the unlimited data command plus all other features for 15$ a month. People will just have to skip eating fast food once a month to afford it... priorities, perhaps!

On paper the CT4-V has more horsepower and torque. I have never driven a Golf R so it’s hard to say. I will tell you the CT4-V is an amazing car and it’s incredibly fast and fun.

Hey man. Thanks for posting such a great educational video. Just grabbed a ‘24 Sierra AT4, and I want to be prepared for our Michigan winters. Is there an indicator in the vehicle to let you know when it’s plugged in? Something similar to what our phones show when charging? Sick truck man… Blessings to you and your loved ones.

Thank you!! Congrats on picking up your new AT4! I don’t believe there is an indicator inside the vehicle. We just had our engine block heater connected to a timer from the outside.

The AT4X is way outside my budget...but how do the AT4 hold up with city driving (3.0 vs 5.3)? My commute is a maximum of 10 miles, but is 100% city. I do some highway driving time to time but primarily suburban USA. I currently own a 2023 Tundra (8,500 mi). I love the truck, but the premature engine failures have me concerned. Dealers aren't even accepting 22/23 trades because of the issue and toyota dealerships can't sell impacted inventory until their is a fix. I bought the extended warranty because i planned to have this 15 years but not if an engine blows!

Wow I can’t believe the new Tundras are having those premature engine failures. We have had AT4’s with both the 3.0 and the 5.3, for your commute which is mostly city driving I would personally go with the 5.3 because we’ve had the same commute as you in our 3.0 and it was really using a lot of def fluid. Also, personally I think the 3.0 is at its best when used on a combined highway/city commute but mostly highway.

Personally I'd just keep the black mirrors cuz it gives the whole window area the blacked out look. The cf is cool and all but that whole area now has an unmatched color scheme... but to each their own.

Now you just need the clear reflectors from savage Cadillac, ordered them for mine (same color just sport with same wing and blackout package) completely changed the look! Can’t wait to see how it looks lowered will give me some motivation on mine and go get my wheels 👌🏼 I’m gonna go with the stance sf03 in gloss black (staggered 19x8.5 +30 front 19x9.5 +40 rear)

You see how they kept the headlights light the CT4... That uninterrupted waterfall light, but it does have a cool animation. When you get close to the car, which is pretty COOL

I don’t understand how your phone automatically sends the trip to the truck. Mine doesn’t do that. I have the offline map. Connected to the trucks via Bluetooth. Is it because I have an iPhone? Whatever it is, this doesn’t work for me unless you’re skipping how your phone is connected to the truck. 2024 Silverado

Try using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. I was using Apple CarPlay in this video to transfer the trip/offline map from my phone to the truck.

My car is the CT4 V-series and only comes with the 10 speed automatic. I wish it came with the manual. The Blackwing comes with the choice of either a 6 speed manual or 10 speed automatic.

Lowering springs are from Tapout Tuning and they’re Swift Sport Lowering springs. A local mechanic has confirmed they will still be ok with the mag ride. Definitely get one you won’t regret it!
