Each one is the " best " in their own unique , individual way - if a person likes one better than the others then that is " best " ti that person which is the real question . No one can say who is best cause no one really knows . They actually say who they LIKE THE BEST ! I like all four - so they are all the best
@Oenloveslife Жыл бұрын
Loomis, Broderick and Cooley are all very fast and good (Cooley fastest?) but they are all sort of clones of each other in the way they play, whereas Paul Gilbert is different, more unique. He probably shouldn't have been on this video.

Paul Gilbert the best

Paul Gilbert is a spectacular player but should have be in a jam off with the likes of a C.C. DeVille or a Richie Sambora - he is nowhere near the league of Loomis, Broderick or Crusty Rusty.

At a certain point there are any number of players that can technically execute anything possible. At that point it’s not a matter of who is “better”. It’s a matter of personal preference.

Loomis easiest best player. No player plays with his speed and can still be melodic. Broderick took back seat to him when they played in same band...

Chris and Rusty have a shitty tone and are mostly soulless-mechanichal shredders. If I had to pick 2 I would choose Jeff and Paul for sure.

Hello, here there are no better, i like more Jeff style, but i give points to Gilbert because more older and probably inspire other to do this shit, enjoy the MF guitar

Rusty is the fastest. I still think Shawn Lane has him beat in speed, though. Shawn would shred augmented arpeggios with one hand at 18-20 nps. Come to think of it, has Shawn EVER tapped?

So many people say wheres the proof that there is a "Higher Being". Well people if this doesnt show you that some people are blessed with a gift from that higher being . Then i simply dont know what to say... I feel no one can judge these guys... Each one of them brings a certain element to the table. Now if you wanna say i prefer.... I can go with that.. Saying that , being from Denver i used to see Chris all the time . Jag Panzer or around the town. Highlands Ranch... Great person. Havent had the pleasure of meeting any of the others ... I think they all win.

Rusty made me feel nauseated from that speed. I seen Broderick live with Megadeth and he used none of those skills. Jack of all trades with technique. Loomis is my favourite with staying musical and not super fast. Gilbert is somewhere in between Broderick and rusty.

I can't say one is better than the other and they have different characteristics but i ve been playing guitar over 10 years and i tried to play at least one song of each guitarist. The most difficult songs belong to Paul gilbert. Because string skipping is way more harder than sweep picking actually. Also there are some videos that paul gilbert plays his hardest songs on clean channel. I was astonished. You can hear note by note lol
