I got this on the 430 West label when it first turned up in the U.K. as an import and played all 4 tracks to death at our gigs! It’s one of the few 4 track 12”s I have where all 4 tracks are killer!

Yeah man early 90s was the best time. This music developed so quickly and became something else shortly after but around this time was the real deal. Amazing how all the 70s funk stuff then hiphop, acid etc lead to this..what a fkin sound. ❤

I wasn't born until 90 so I got into the music way late but thanks to a documentary featuring Shy Fx, I was pretty much hooked. This playlist is really helping with bringing some classics like this one to my attention. Jungle for life!

Love this song! Early 90's were the BEST! So many memories, so many clubs and bars! House music was the best then. 54 year's old, i grew up in Oshawa, Illusions was the place to be! And Stairways in Whitby. and Koo Koo bananas. T.O. The Joker, RPM, Limelight and so many more, good times!! 😊❤️

@edsstokes agree 100%. Short stories is absolutely one of the the most perfect all around works of art imho. Everything is superbly done, written produced and most of all cohesive. Flawless material or written visual and audio work.

idk but this song so simple compared to the way its usually sample to be like all breakbeat-y, it almost sounds nostalgic because of that

I wish I had a mix of the early version of this track, sounding the way it sounded coming out of my S1000 in Mark’s basement. I was def using Opcode Vision by this time, and it really shows, in a good way.
@loiteringwithintent461Ай бұрын
I would love to hear that!!! Also to hear what Mark's early 1980s band Pyramid sounded like.
