Nah, I'll probably wait for it to go on a steep discount. It also seems quite similar to OT1, unfortunately, so I'll want to get a little more time in between 2 and my playthrough of the original so that it feels fresher. Hope you're also well.

Thanks. I thought people might consider this sort of game to be too slow or boring, but I've been surprised by the reception. I haven't played many CRPGs, but RPGs are generally my favorite genre. Hopefully I can get around to the Divinity games as well as perhaps Pathfinder and Pillars at some point.

I understand the desire to be a normal cop, and not to follow Harry's past. But there is a feeling that you are also ignoring the fact of complete amnesia. Harry encounters many things and concepts for the first time, and a total lack of interest looks no less strange than hyperactive behavior. But that's of course just my opinion. I respect your insistence on playing the character you were planning, so I'll try to clarify some of the non-obvious mechanics without spoilers. 1. The developers in the game provide two ways to unlock checks, when the player rests on the limit of pumping skill, and all modifiers (from the dialogs) are already active. This is the purchase of a set of dices, each gives modifiers several checks. Or thoughts opening checks of certain characteristics. There are a lot of them in the second half of the game, but skillpoints go to the test of each. 2. .the most obvious. Empty bottles can only be collected with a bag in the active hand. 3. Advice. I'm not sure, but it looks like you forgot to explore some interactive items in the inventory

Yeah, the amnesiac protagonist is a common way to create a convenient method of world building by having the other characters explain everything to you. To the degree that I skip over things, there are usually two reasons: sometimes the game punishes overly exploring things, but more often, the game is getting a bit exhausting to be honest. I'll probably post a pastebin of my full thoughts in the description once I'm finished, but that is a small issue for me. 1. Interesting. That's a bit opaque, but an interesting solution. 2. Ahh, I should have realized that given how the tools work. Again, slightly unintuitive, but kinda my bad. 3. Yeah, I did forget to interact with something in my inventory this episode. Made a mental note to do it next ep. Thanks for the tips.

@@nocowser5694 Like total poop. Only get 30FPS when nothing is happening. Typically floats around the upper 20s. Not unusual to dip into the teens when things really start poppin' off.

Tough to say for sure. I think they're broadly similar in terms of overall power, but I think I prefer the playstyle of good.

I might give it a shot sometime outside of KZbin, but I wasn't gonna bother grinding to fight Galdera for this series. As much as I'd like to, the game has gone on too long already, and no save immediately beforehand is simply too tedious.

Tough call. The samurai seems cool, but in OT1, Cyrus and Therion's talents and path actions are too good, so I'd probably start with the scholar character. You?

I had a hard time fighting the advanced job and so I did a little level to 26 he was still one shot me until I use a skill that leave you with one hp

Yeah, it's on the slow side, but definitely a nice game when you want somethin' chill. I'll probably end up picking up the sequel as well. Haven't tried the Heroes games yet, but I have Heroes 2. I'll get around to it one of these days.
