I was just saying on another post of long eared in Lancashire that I didn't know that they bred here in Lancashire and I have only seen them twice in the wild once at Belmont and again in Tockholes and a few at a roost in Blackpool a long time ago.... I'm in Blackburn and I have watched the short eared owl on the moorland nesting behind Darwen tower and they have been around there for years... just wondering if I could have an inclination of where roughly i could have a chance to see them here in Lancashire....i understand the implications so......

What a fantastic video! Loved it. The music really added to the atmosphere too.....quite uplifting(what was it?). It brought back so many amazing memories of my adventures in Scotland....quite emotional really!😂 In a twisted kinda way, I've Instagram to thank for finding you on KZbin. Hi Graham. Thanks for your comments and I'm glad you found me on here, and liked the video too. Scotland is a wonderful place and I'm sure I'll be back for many more visits. The music is called Dreamcatcher and is royalty free music from Purple Planet Instagram is a real pain at the moment, so I will probably have a break from it and see how the new layout goes over the coming weeks.

I've just got back from a week to the Moray coast photographing Ospreys and Red Squirrels....what a fantastic time it was too (photo going on Instagram whilst I still can). Can't wait to go back. Scotland really is a magical place isn't it!

@@gpphotography.1 No probs Graham. Sounds like you've had fun photographing the ospreys and Red Squirrels. I love the red squirrels, so cute and tiy. When I first saw one I though it was a baby one because they are so small LOL. Scotland is amazing - I totally agree.

@@debraoconnorphotography Yes it was fun. The Red Squirrels are so characterful and quite mischievous at times. Whilst photographing one, another was in a tree above and trying to drop pine cones on me🤣🤣 Even though I'm not Scottish, I always feel most at home and at peace in Scotland! 👍
