I think the narrators' actions speak for themselves. He said he did all of it because anything is better than oblivion. Yet to do it he had to face oblivion himself. He was a hypocrite from the beginning because the truth is he knew there were worse things than oblivion. He preferred oblivion to being helpless and to losing everything, yet that is the exact fate he condemns his world to if he succeeds. Helplessly losing yourself for all of eternity, no merciful death or end, just eternal cycling out of all your control.

Yeah it's aparent to me that though the Princess changes in differant timelines and worlds her differant personaliries are going to spin off and become their own entities much like how the voices aere their own seperate identities. Sort of like where you split off into seperate differant people? perhaps when the new world is created by the Crow and thr Princess leaving together and choosing to give up godhood the new world also creates new bodies for the voices and princesses and they take on whole new entire new forms? Ok someone a fanfiction writer get to work right now! I'm giving you gold right here. you could make an entire new world with entire new ocs that branch off from these charecters being basicly reborn as something new.
