hi. well. all i did was. took out the limitations in windows 11. just installed it normally like you would on any computer.

it is holding up pretty well. youtube and netflix are fantastic on it. but games are a hit or miss.

no all went well like it post to. if nvidia drivers don't take the normal way you can load them manual

How did you get the m2200 to work? I have one and it wouldn’t detect. Then when I got the computer to detect it the NVIDIA driver program did not.

the m2200 came from another dell precision model and i just downloaded the drivers from Nvidia. but als o you can install them manually by using device manager. unzip the drivers to a folder in the desktop and under the device manager and choose update and choose look for drivers on computer and choose have a disk. then go into the folder where the drivers are and install the dll for the m2200.

No modding. Just update your bios to the last update and just install the cpu into the machine.

For me it worked great and ran fantastically. I do not own this one no more. But it is great buy on the cheap side having pc. With threads and cpu speed is really good for the money.

I just pulled mine out òf storage and installed Ubuntu on it tgis morning. The last time i booted it was June 2020 when i put a 512gb SSD in. It's over 10 years old and still massive overkill for 99% of what i do. Mine has the AMD HD 8870M graphics and 16gb of RAM with the 4910 CPU. My daily use laptop is a 2014 i5 MacBook Air that I stuck a 2TB NVME drive in. I keep debating buying a new computer but these do everything i need.

FYI, Haiku doesnt have 3D accel at all, its software (CPU only) for now.. A "supported card" means it can use native (widescreen and such) resolutions basically, which it seems you have.. I also noticed that wifi is flakey, randomly disconnecting, and thats sitting 1Meter (approx 3 feet) from the router.. Use cable if you can, its not the reception thats the problem, its the driver, LAN works great though. Great to see other people using Haiku on bare metal 🙂

Memoria máxima DDR2 de 4,0 GB a 667 MHz Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 e I5 no funcionarán en él.

retro is DDR2 systems and below imo, basically Windows 98/XP, like my retro system is a Athlon XP 2400+, 1gb DDR1, Radeon 9800Pro 128mb

Win98 isn't gonna be so great for that system, everything is just too late for proper support. Could probably get it going well enough without chipset drivers being available, but there aren't any 98 drivers for that graphics card. Something like a GeForce FX 5200/5500 PCI, or a PCI-E Radeon x600 will be an okay fit, and the Audigy 2 is pretty good for Windows 98 as well.

I use Rudolph R Loew drivers and unofficial win98 nvidia drivers. That loads the gpu that it has in it. But waiting on ps/2 adapter for motherboard. Still fun project to play with.

@@2mikedean Ooh, interesting, have not heard of that driver pack before. I was always under the impression that the 7000 series was the latest with any kind of Win98 support. Do the drivers work fine? Like Direct3D and OpenGL all work correctly?

i got a similar case for a similar price but black and with less ventilation. it was a pain to build into, cheap af materials(but i was expecting that, even though they were so cheap i was able to break it with my hands), for 30 dollars not bad though, i was expecting something unusable, still, i can't get the video card to mount properly but yeah, lesson here is spend 50 dollars and get a Better cheap case which can at least fit all your parts properly

idk what you all are buying from temu,but everything i bought from them was good stuff made well and it came when they said it would, a matter of fact i got most of my christmas gifts from them,and if you get a dented box or item missing, they replace it no problem, as they should. they will make it right with you.i compare shop,you just have to watch what you buy.

For $32 almost any case is good enough, but I don't trust them to sell something with a good layout. Edit: oh this layout and design is atrocious. You don't want random gaps and holes in your case, it will never hold air pressure. The front panel fan mounts will choke front air flow and there are no dust filters. For $40 buy a deep cool teseract instead.

Yes it is good for the price. Hard find a good cheap case around the price or under. I used to pick up cases when they was around 20 dollars. Then when the price jump up almost 50 for the same cheap case. Sorry I could not spend that much money for that.

I had no problems with this motherboard myself. Everything works fantastic on it. The performance is well worth it. No heating issues for me. I do recommend this board. If you don't mind it is based off older hardware. But nice part older hardware is that you can choose older windows for it or Linux operating system that you like.
