You cut a vent in the cap to relieve pressure so the initial pressure spike doesn't blow the starter out of the motor before it's fully lighted.

Thanks man... I knew there was a reason why we did it... I just couldn't remember why.

Traded my CCP for a Glock43. I loved the ccp grip but for 8 rounds I wanted something smaller. Now I have glock perfection with 8 rounds ( Yes I know I added a mag extender since stock its only 6 ) never looking back. Dont get me wrong i like how it shot with the fix barrel but still was too heavy and ammo picky for being my conceal carry liking.

Have you shot it yet?

yes I have. i put about 250 rounds through it a few days after posting this video.

@@ralstondorn7874 How did it run? I've seen some people complaining about loose sights and some other issues.
@ralstondorn78742 жыл бұрын
@@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 it was a tad picky on the ammo. It doesn’t like aluminum or steel cased ammo. But as long as you’re putting quality brass down it, then it worked fine. I had no issues with loose sites or anything else. Also it didn’t like certain hollow points. So you have to figure out which hollow points it likes and stick with that. As far as ergonomics go, it’s snappy but damn comfortable.
@stopthephilosophicalzombie90172 жыл бұрын
@@ralstondorn7874 Yeah it seems like most Walthers don't like steel case or aluminum. Glad it seems to be running good for you.

How would you rate it after however long you’ve been shooting?
@ralstondorn78742 жыл бұрын
Fantastic! It’s such a smooth shooter! I grew up shooting my grandpa’s model 37 and compared to that there’s hardly any recoil. Shoots true to point of aim. I love it.

Awesome flight! I'm going for level one soon with a 3" LOC Iris. I intend to also use a JLCR, but with a streamer instead of drogue. SERIOUS QUESTION: Did you attach the drogue at the forward section/nosecone or the main?
@ralstondorn78743 жыл бұрын
This is a motor eject rocket. That said, both the main and drogue chutes leave the airframe at apogee but the chute release keeps the main closed till closer to the ground. I had the main tied about 2 feet from the nose cone and the drogue before that about 4 feet from the nose cone. Good luck on your level 1
