How to route our set list when using a 4 input audio interface please ??
@LANDOYT2 ай бұрын
@@MardocheeAssouan-fj6uu Go to Ableton’s preferences, set Audio Output device to your interface. Go to Output Config to label them. Set the output of all tracks in Ableton to Ext. Out, and under that you should see the 4 available outputs. Route your tracks accordingly

Is there anyway I can load an entire kit instead of individual sounds alone, using the wave manager? Where can I get kits?
@LANDOYT3 ай бұрын
@@MusicChannel-rf5zz In Wave Manager you can import multiple files at once. I think you can only load full kits using the USB-A connection on the SPD

@@LANDOYT Thank you.I'm also trying to figure out how to layer 2 sounds together on a pad.Also is there anyway we could use a pedal for open/close hihats? Is there any place I can get tones made for SPD sx free.The factory tones are very limited.
@LANDOYT3 ай бұрын
For free sounds you might just search on Google, I’m sure there are some out there! As far as layering, yes! there’s a setting called Pad Link where you can chain 2 pads together to fire at the same time. I believe the limit is 2 though, so if you want more you might consider a free trial of Logic Pro or any other DAW. There you can combine all the sounds you want to fire together, export it as one audio file, and import it into Wave Manager. Doing this could also get you some free sounds as most DAWs come with a bunch of stock drum samples, especially Logic and Ableton Live
@LANDOYT3 ай бұрын
@@MusicChannel-rf5zz Also, no on the hi hat. The standard SPD doesn’t have a hi hat controller built in

@@MusicChannel-rf5zz Anytime! To answer this question & your other comment, most of the sounds from this video were from Logic Pro. Splice has a ton of stuff, multitracks.com has some drum samples, drumsampleshop.com is full of them, and many other artists & drummers sell sounds they use. They’re all out there for ya!

Appreciate the transparency bro. Lots of small churches think they need tens of thousands of dollars and turn building their sound system into a competition. I Went through that with my home church. Appreciate you using your gift to inspire bro. Keep it up. 💯⚡️💥🙏🏾

Of course man, to be honest 4 years ago when we launched I had that same mindset that we had to have it all together. But the more you grow up in church tech the more you realize it’s about reaching your community for Jesus and that’s enough. I’m not ashamed to tell people we use old iPhones and Switcher Studio to get our video or that we have mono in-ears ha. It works for us and we got great results from this recording because of it. Thanks for your encouragement & be on the lookout out for Gathering Place Music! 🙏🏾

@@danielsummerville5805Hate that I missed this. Hopefully they’ll communicate this before service begins. Make sure that “Warp” is activated on your stems and then simply change the tempo of your tempo track, then click “Lead/Follow” twice to take the new tempo. If they unfortunately decide this in the middle of service… space bar and try again on the next song ha.

Will Ableton live lite be able to handle this or would I need an unlimited amount of tracks for a live situation?
@LANDOYT2 ай бұрын
Very sorry I missed this. Live Lite absolutely can. 8 tracks max on that I believe. Do it like this: If you got a song that has like 20 tracks. Import all the guitars and bounce it down to one stereo file. Same with keys. BGVs & loops. Easy way to have enough for Click, count/guide, all your tracks & maybe even some MIDI commands

Is there a reason why my click track is in sync with my song but when I try to automate the ableton’s metronome instead, the metronome is off tempo? I have my bpm set at the top left but for some reason ableton’s metronome is still not in sync .
@LANDOYT Жыл бұрын
Make sure that the dot on the corner of the master tempo is red meaning automation is active! Do this by right clicking the tempo and pressing re-enable automation. Also if you are using a click track file within your tracks, make sure its seg. BPM is locked into the original and warp is on.

Would it be possible to connect bass to this along with keys too?
@LANDOYT Жыл бұрын
It sure would be! It's actually a common practice connecting multiple keyboards/similar instruments to a mixer or audio interface to sum it into just a stereo send to save channels. Just keep your levels in mind & get with your church's or venue's sound engineer(s) for the best practice for your space!
