It took a while to get the ride started, but it was worth the wait. It is crazy to get a ride in something that literally flies off its track! And for the record, not a single one of these rides operates in the United States. This may be because of the fear of lawsuits!

In the US it has to be US-idiot proof which is several degrees more strict than EU-idiot proof. Also 90 kg -> 200 lbs most US idiots would be overweight but would use it anyways.

@@simengrandal6898 I know that BonBon Land was based on some Danish candies... and some very creative ones at that! I realize that I don't know much about the candy, so I am sure I do not get the references on this ride. I had fun at the park, but between the rain that day and the fact that this was at the end of a long string of amusement, I may not have been in the best mood during the boat ride.

I've seen the "before" videos with a brakeman and they positively gutted this coaster with the current static brakes which don't account for train weight. Great video however, shame about the dark section but can't be helped.

I only rode it after the brakemen were removed, so I can't say how much it changed. As for the dark section, I could not see much in the tunnel except a couple of flashes from a strobe light.

@laufey._.lauverr This is one of over three dozen "Galaxi" version of Zyklon models built. There were over 100 "Zyklon" coasters of which there are several different variations. Rollies Coaster in New Jersey is a Zyklon Z40 model.

I might be weird, but I actually enjoy boomerangs, especially the intensity going through the loop. I think my height or general body shape helps protect my ears and head from abuse by the shoulder restraints, though.

I had a good friend in the park's marketing department, I had professional camera mounting, and I had Cedar Fair Security's assistance. I also have a moderately successful website and KZbin presence... and it was still a challenge. You can ask, but don't expect much.

@@yikl574 basically it was made a very very long time ago so if they kept it, it would’ve broken down killing people so the reason why they had to take it down is because they don’t want anybody getting injured and plus the theme park has also been taken down due to not getting money and it was also veryvery old

IIRC, from looking at plans online, Action Park in NJ (which seemed to be Ken Bailey's playground, between the Aqua Skoot, and the failed Man-In-The-Ball-In-The-Ball attraction idea) was supposed to get one of these!

The same coaster can be found at King's Island and for years at Hunt's Pier in Wildwood, NJ. I believe they were manufactured and built by the old Philadelphia Toboggan Company. This particular one is in excellent shape and well taken care of.
