Vinland saga was my second anime, after AOT and this will be my second watch, which is so interesting and wild to rewatch!! And I’m so glad it’s with you guys!!

58:56, that's what happened to almost all of us, most of the series I have seen I have enjoyed a lot, but I have not managed to go beyond the series itself, AOT is one of the few (or the only one) series that I could talk for hours about every detail and see it from your point of view. AOT is in my top 5 favorite series but it is the only one that has achieved that.

You guys are going on a journey were you will watch many great shows but as someone who's favorite show is also AoT, I still have got to find a show that makes me feel twist my mind like AoT does. And just like you said, it may not be everyone's favorite show but they all agree that it's the best show they have ever watched.

My take on who is the enemy is there aren't enemies. There are bad and hateful people throughout the show but they aren't enemies, they just lived a different kind of circumstances than you. For example, Eren is bad for the marleyans but they didn't see how the titans ate his mother or how the titans killed many of his friends. Annie is the enemy on the S1 Finale, but she just wanted to reunite with her father and see him again, she would do ANYTHING to achieve that. Look to Zeke, he massacred Erwin and the Scouts, but he lived a rough childhood without parental love and the burden of the Eldia Restorationists, it's the same story with Reiner, Bertholdt, Levi, Gabi and most of the characters throughout the show.

Rewatching this peak with you guys, from start to finish, was the best journey I've had on the whole KZbin platform. I've said it countless times, but your discussions, thoughts, predictions and the overall way of thinking is phenomenal. I absolutely love that you guys have different opinions on different aspects of this show, but you have one common opinion about the show being the best (based). I love that you mentioned so many diverse and even relatively minor characters, like Marco (no disrespect, the dude's one-sentence impact on Jean is crazy) and numerous scenes as well. I appreciate your appreciation of the complexity and detalization of this show, like literally you have to pay so much attention cuz every line, every sentence, every single scene is important, and that is what you guys were able to pull out. You paid attention and the experience has paid off. Finally, shoutout to Attack on Titan by Hajime Isayama, shoutout to Ralaz, the best reaction channel, congratulations on taking on this mind-blowing journey, and we all will miss this goated show and your goated reactions. What’s so funny is that after rewatching the show, most of these takes MOST definitely change. When I rewatched it the first time, I noticed some scenes were more insane and dramatic than I thought. Everything is just crazy on the second watch.

Eren was my favourite main character after Goku before I met Gintoki.

for me Eren is the best character. The difference between him and Reiner is that Reiner was bipolar in personality, but Eren was AWARE of these personalities(That's why he said "I'm same as you Reiner, a half-assed piece of sh*t but I am worse", because he was aware of it fully). You can see when Eren is shown small, he is EMBODYING his freedom self, where he is willing to achieve his dream to EXPLORE THE OUTSIDE WORLD, WHICH WAS SHOWN IN ARMIN'S BOOK and he is shown ADULT whenever his humane or conflicting side is shown. So these two personalities kid one and adult one are conflicting with each other. in the end you could see and understand both reached a sort of solution where kid Eren managed to EXPLORE THE WORLD IN BOOK during the Rumbling and his adult conflicting self who found the solution to remove the POWER OF TITANS from the world, he kept moving forward towards his goal, even though he knew it could just be another HELL(Eren's words to Falco).

Vinland Saga might legitimately be the greatest written anime of all time. Its also one of the greatest written works in my opinion. Up there with stuff like Black Sails and Breaking Bad.

I definitely agree with Rivas's take on season 2 being his second fav...dude I think that everyone forgot about that season...literally it was full on action from the start to the end and had soo many reveals and not soo obvious information drops here and there as puzzle pieces even though it has only 12 episodes...Everything was happening soo fast..literally every moment you have to be locked in...still I respect others opinion.... Eren is still my fav character in this whole show...even though it has soo many controversies, I still have to admit he's such a complex character...Even his final conversation with Armin talks about him a lot...He was definitely not a free person in the end I think...At first, i didn't at all like his reasoning he depicted for his actions...but I finally understood what he meant...that he was not just doing it all for his friends..it was actually for his own desire for freedom..he said he couldn't do anything alternative and everything turned out just like what he saw in his future memories...he wanted to change it ...but he couldn't...why? Because he subconsciously wanted all this to happen..that means he was a slave to his own idea of freedom...Many people got hurt by this selfish desire...I think that's why he calls himself an idiot...We have seen his extremist activities already and what mayhems his decisions sometimes caused...Atleast he had to be honest to Armin with that..just like Ronnie said, he wants to be judged,like Reiner...and I think that's the biggest reason why Eren said to Reiner that they are the same(how Reiner said he wanted it for himself)😅
