Brian Jones has to be one of the coolest rock stars in the world from the hair to the accent and his ability to play almost any instrument he picked up.

It's funny because I get the feeling Mike Douglas is being polite but that he doesn't think too much of the band. Little did he know they would become THE GREATEST ROCK AND ROLL BAND IN THE WORLD as they were introduced on their 1969 live performance at Madison Square Garden. Sixty years later and their latest album was nominated for a Grammy and they are still touring strong. I don't like to say this is my favorite band because there are a lot of great bands but this just might be my favorite band of all time.

Man if only mental health was taken seriously back then, Brian Jones could've still been here. His story is pretty damn sad. He did a lot of pretty bad things but he clearly needed help himself. I always wonder what could've been if he didn't die.

Brian looks in good shape here I wish I could say the same about his 6 children by 6 different women, all illegitimate (none of whom where acknowledge or received any financial support) what a guy. The lads here look very uncomfortable.

If you've not seen this already, watch Chuck Berry teach Keith Richards how to play the intro to Carol properly - the year is 1987 and KR has been playing the song for much of his adult life. kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3mymqqFltN8eK8 Chuck Berry: "If you wanna get it right, let's get it right."

The Stones, at the very beginning! Whatever went down, I think Brian would look down & been very proud the band went on for so many decades, & became so legendary, it was beyond what any of them expected.

Rolling Stones were at the highest level in 1964-65, before Brian Jones lost his position. They were a great rhytm'n blues band. From 1966 they became more a rock'n roll band among many others.
