We all knew that this martial art can't be in the octagon. And some of us says that its not effective in real life, like street figh. But i still believe in this martial art and i believe it is effective coz not all are MMA fighter and martial arts expert. Robbers, drunk people people with gun and knife not all are expert. Aikido is special in disarming people with gun and knife something that a boxer cant do. And the art of aikido is not to kill but to subdue with care. Coz like what they say, aikido is a peaceful Martial art. So my respect to people who practice this kind of art. ☮️ ✌️🙏

He's not actually throwing the person. They are rolling over for him. I'm not saying the technique won't break someone's arm, but the whole "throwing" thing makes it look fake.

Aikido is a great traditional martial art. I believe we are sharing a great area when all the disciplines are nourishing each other for many different purposes ranging from esthetics sport and self defense up to protection against criminal violence. In this perspective it's a good job to share those videos online.
