3000mm and 5000mm static head. 3000cm is equal to 30m which is close to 100feet 😊. This tent is way over priced, look at the 3ful Taigi 1, €161 on camperlist. Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪.

Its a good looking tent. Im pretty tall and finding something that I don't touch the top and/or the bottom of the tent is rare.

Hi Jon. loving the content you're putting up, very much the format I'd probably put up if I wasn't so lazy as to not get out there. I used to tramp quite a bit and seeing your videos I miss it, your content is giving me a nudge to get my A into G and stop making excuses. It's one thing to watch it it's a whole other thing to experience it 🙂

You can set off and if it proves to difficult you can always turn back. You get a good view of the waterfall from the bridge

Ill be going in 3 weeks but wonder how difficult this walk might be with so many stepa. I am in my 60s and although happy to walk on level and genlte slopes a lot of steps can be hard for my back. Can you give me an idea of level of difficulty please?

Great set of videos covering the trip. I think you're the only person who has filmed a decent amount of footage enroute. Feels much more like we're walking along with you. Well paced. Was it April?

Jesus the gorse on that trail looks a bit menacing. I'd hate to trip and fall into that stuff it looks like it would hurt. Do you know what the trees they killed actually were, are they an invasive species?

Cheers for the info. Looks like a beautiful track. I'm not sure if your a New Zealander or Australian but you should really put some respect and mana into your pronunciation. Quite embarrassing. Sorry for the criticism but just saying. Those beautiful places deserve some effort put into how you should say it. There is a purari river in Papua New Guinea. Maybe you mean Po ro ra ri. Cheers for sharing mate

Ahhh, the years do roll away! I cooked many a canteen cup meal during my time in Vietnam (66-67). We sometimes came across small VC rice dumps in those days and a bit of boiled rice mixed with the rather meagre (Aussie) 24 hour ration pack offerings could make a filling meal. I've heard of soldiers in later times ditching their hexi cookers in favour of gas canister stoves, but I wouldn't have been too keen to do that. The thought of a tracer round going through the old butt pack during a firefight (happened to me once) and hitting a gas canister doesn't bear thinking about! Good vdeo. Keep up the good work.

Can one wild camp in a tent on this track?

Yes you can....provided you are 200 meters away from the track you are allowed to camp just about anywhere on the Conservation estate....
