Brilliant cover version of telstar by Doug Orlando very Sci fi styling and interesting sound effects too yes it's a very interesting telstar take on the tornado s original I think Joe meek would approve and like the sound effects Doug Orlando certainly vamped up the tune without spoiling the theme yes well done track

Chick corea potential? Chick was a phenomenal composer. Jesus may develop his technical ability, but the story telling behind Chicks compositions are a very different skill.

It was fun to dissect this iconic piece! It’s one of the pieces I couldn’t just copy play just straight. Needed my own twist on it with mod wheel , may have overdone it , but then again it was impromptu and pitch bend and portamento.

@@djorlando57 I too have a version of this lovely tune. I play the folk harp. Because of just playing solo, I have adjusted the beginning and the ending, plus, I have interpreted the music to fit my fingering techniques. I was curious as to how you would do it. I find the tune is so full of optimism and exploration. .... To infinity and beyond!

Good effort and the Hammond clone sounds good too. It seems more the Wall live version than the studio one. Anyway, I guess some other piano or Rhodes part is missing.

Hey friend! I appreciate the feedback! Agree, the piano was mixed soft at times, and it was quite a challenge to hear and dissect it! Can you have at the same time open the Sunday Sounds app and the Word app? To read the songs and playing at the same time.

Yes, you can with the iPad Pro newest version, the M1 chip seems to be able to handle having Sunday keys open with the forScore app, which is what I use, and I do have 15 layers, on my older iPad, though I would get some stuck keys, be aware of that if you don’t have the iPad Pro

you could get a more accurate synth by splitting your top keyboard into two monophonic minimoogs (basic saw tooth patch, just copy any Shine on patch) other than that very nice.

Right on bud ! Yeah actually this was rehearsal for a “Neighborhood Picnic Band” gig where I could only get mono to the board , so I forgo the two outputs on Moog or ARP odyssey. You can find it on KZbin on our channel. , All the best !

Douglas, you have a very serious play list. Wow! With some nice diversity. We're just a fledgling band (8 menbers) in Vancouver Canada. Had our first live club gig last Saturday. Audience seemed to love the selection, the dance floor was pretty full most of the night. But we have much to learn and mostly having fun on the journey!
