Hey great video! Just wanted to ask how do you find fishing spots? Is there a resource you use? Thanks!
@currentfisher8 сағат бұрын
I used to use Fishbrain but honestly I just love looking at maps so I try to find an unfamiliar creek on forest or public land and then go take the time and miles to explore. I do strike out at times but that’s part of the adventure for me!

When you fish clear creek how much tip it do you do you use on your dropper ?
@currentfisher8 сағат бұрын
Thanks for watching! I haven’t fished clear creek that much but when I was there last fall I was fishing about a 2ft long dropper.
@randomfishing59984 күн бұрын
That's awesome. Camping right on the lake and catching some cool looking fish. Put em back! Definitely don't have a problem in my area with the water being too cold. Even the mountain streams are running pretty warm. Not the best conditions for trout, so I've mostly been targeting other species.
@currentfisher8 сағат бұрын
That’s a good idea to go for the other fish when it gets warm out. It’s been hot as heck except in the high country here as well.

Hello! I’ve been hammering this place, I can’t seem to see any when I try to sight fish, you got any tips?
@currentfisher7 күн бұрын
That's odd. I wonder if the fishery is suffering or the fish have moved. I wish I could offer you advice but this was 3 years ago and it was the only time I've fished here. My tip would be go somewhere else because there are a bunch of streams and lakes with cutthroats in them.

This fish is a chain pickerel. The easiest way to tell is the dark line under the eye, which pike don't have.
