Billie Eillish is so beautiful! I couldn't see her physical beauty when she was starting out and when she had green and black hair and wore those wayyy oversized designer suits. Her beautiful voice matches not only her beautiful heart but is also matches her beautiful appearance!

She doesn't use autotune. They layer vocals which creates that echo effects. Listen to the instrumental version of "bored". You can kinda hear it there.

What autotune does is flatten the performance. All of the originality and individuality of the singer's voice disappears. I remember growing up that the singer's voices sounded distinct. In the autotune era they all seem compressed and to blend together. That and autotune creates the myth that a live performance is supposed to be pitch and note perfect, which never happens in real life and is not supposed to happen. Eilish is a hell of a natural singer.

No auto-tune? This a joke right. There’s an entire suite of vocal effects used in all of these clips. This is not an unfiltered singing voice lol. If by no auto tune you mean the quavery vocal tuning popular in pop music then sure, they’re not using that one. But this is my job and I can clearly hear at least three obvious vocal effect filters, and I’m sure there’s probably more. This would sound nothing like the raw audio input coming from her voice alone.

She uses backing vocals. That's how her songs are built. They record like 5 different versions each in different notes and layer them. She doesn't deny that. They simply don't use autotune.

All of these performances are using auto-tune/filters - just in a different way. Firstly, this isn't a live performance. It's a video of a live performance, that has gone through post-production, before Billie's team released it to the internet. They fix "live" performances in the studio, before it ends up on KZbin. Secondly, they apply filters during the actual live performance as well. She will have a producer back stage, fixing her vocals and applying filters. They don't look natural, and don't sound natural - they look heavily processed
