I never really had a liking for Jazz i was so much in rock Jimi Hendrix , Deep purple and other rock bands , but when i first listened to Jonathan Butler Africa album in the early 1990s i instanly got hooked to his music and started appreciating Jazz and i must say Jonathan Butler introduced me to Jazz

In 1990 I was in Manila, Philippines, participating in a Campus Crusade Christian Conference. There I discovered Jonathan's music,I bought the AFRICA cassette. I was very happy when I found out that he became a Christian. I still enjoy his music. THANK YOU. from Lima Peru.

I can't remember how i become aware of it but it has find a verg special space in my heart to this day. What a song! I can appreciate an overall translation from anyone if word by word can't be done.
