great video! for rings, its super easy if you have two memory cards. if you amass a ton of rings on one file, you can just copy the game file to another memory card. you effectively have an infinite save of X amount of rings by copying the file over and over once you've used up the rings on your main card. makes it so easy it might get boring but it saves hours of grind

Yeah I didn't wanna even touch on the ring or animal glitches too much cause it kinda makes allot of the video redundant but you can also dup chao themselves to bypass the need for a lot rings but I mean I wanted it to stay *mostly* legit so 🤫

The reset thing, does this work on the PC/Steam version as well? (like say Sell your items, and then Alt F4 to quit, and then load back in to repeat?)

No that trick actually only works on 2 for the GameCube specifically

Another useful tip for leveling power is to visit red mountain as knuckles. You can get a lot of animals then quit off the level. Sonic's red mountain doesn't have a lot of enemies at the start.

Definitely can! But as you can see in the video they are glitched in the GameCube versions! They look "normal" in later games but some people prefer the glitchy guys

i bet you remember when topgear shot a mark 1 or 2 or whatever it was volkswagen golf with an brittish tank painted white to match the "top gear police department" livery. the tank had to stop to take the shot, leading james to think that jeremy and hammond had given up but instead as a plot twist the tank shot at james's car, killing him instantly. its amazing how much his replacement looked alike to the real late james may. some say it was a humonculous or something. idk though i dont believe it i think they backed up his concious onto a supercomputer just like they did with the other hosts. might explain why as the show went on it gradually became less human since they probably were running out of space parts to upload the concious into. the humonculous thing would have been more better in hindsight but thats 20/20 so i guess the robot thing worked as well as it did. maybe something to look into ; )

@@SullyN64 Evolution type is down to what animals and chaos drives you gave it. So for example giving it nothing but green animals and drives will influence it to evolve into run. However certain colours can cancel out influence of another type. Example: Giving a chao which has already been given green animals/drives so its influenced to become run by then giving it red animals/drives this will cancel out the run influence setting it back into evolving into a normal balanced type. A spoiler warning for those who haven’t played sonic frontiers So the Chao do technically as of right now have an origin. In the Eggman logs we learn about a race of aliens known as the ancients who brought the chaos emeralds and the master emerald with them from a different planet while escaping The End. However, after battling it and sort of winning, a faction of the ancient left with the Master Emerald to a place that would become Angel Island and then eventually devolve into what are the Chao while 1 specific Chao would evolve and become Chaos

If I recall, the tiny Chao Garden In Sonic advance 1 + Sonic Pinball for the GBA highest Chao egg was the moon Chao. It takes FOREVER to grind, but that is the rarest Chao egg you can get in the tiny Chao garden. From what I recall, the tiny Chao Garden has different versions of the garden based on the version you're using. If you have no GBA game in the slot and link a Chao to the GBA THEN I believe the highest you can get is a onyx, but if you have a Sonic game like the combo pack SA + SP, you can get the rarest Chao the moon Chao, after buying and transferring all the eggs you buy from the shop. (if I recall, you need the max amount of rings or close to it that you can store within the game, to purchase the moon Chao. Which grinding for is NOT easy as it requires you to play the real games Sonic advance and pinball or even the mini games to collect the rings. Which means to my knowledge currently no easy way to farm said rings.)

The moon Chao was from the original Dreamcast ports. They removed it in later versions but added many other jewel versions

I might make a video on it since it seems like I'm the only person on the internet who discovered this. I post about it everywhere I can when talking about chaos, but it doesn't seem like many people know. (it may probably on accessible on the double pack Sonic GBA game, and since it is the last egg, that costs around the max amount of rings, and you need to buy and remove the other eggs into a copy of Sonic adventure, it may be too niche of a situation that many people don't know that it's possible. I'll have to document it myself on how to acquire a moon Chao legitimately in SA 1 and 2 Battle.)

I'd say probably. It's easier to track all your different traits when you start fresh plus you get a bunch of normal chao eggs which are good for the 2-tone gene.
