Just found this series yesterday, and I can’t wait for episode 3. So keep up the good work!

I remember starting wow back in wod I was in highschool and my buddies that were getting me into it were from TBC cata etc. I remember falling behind in leveling because it took a bit for the game to get my attention, eventually when I got serious they were maxed and I had to dungeon alone. Maaaan, I remember as a warrior I would use hamstring for damage LOL my dps was soooooo bad I would get kicked from everything and anything I tried to do with absolutely no explanation on what I was doing wrong. It wasn’t until we were raiding where my friend realized I wasn’t doing my rotation just pressing buttons. He sat down with me and made me read my entire spell book. After a week of revising my gameplay after that talk I skyrocketed to being sometimes top dps, to actually being one of the only ones in my friend group to take PvP seriously and really start upping my game. Because of this I really try to never overlook a noob in need.

you should try going to heroic raid as a completely new player and see you there.. diabolical toxicity

I have pretty much same gameplay of grinding through legacy content and locking my level. Just enjoying the game and chatting with old and new buddies. Good game😊

You should definitely do profession alts if you feel like it, it would free you so much time that isn't really challenging and it's still technically solo

yes its very easy, do Hardcore vanilla solo. That's what ive been trying for the better part of a year and my best is level 34

Okay, but the new player servers are kind of meant to be safe places for new players to learn anyway, but most people will tell you not to play on the new player servers because they tend to just be the realms that Blizzard is trying to funnel people into, the empty realms where nothing happens, there's basically no established community there and nobody wants to play on an empty/low population realm. What people are really talking about when they say that WoW is toxic is when the hype for a new expansion is up, and everyone is playing all together all at once, racing to reach max level and gearing up, this is where you'll encounter the people who aren't just playing because they enjoy the game, this is where lots of players are joining in on the band wagon and tolerating the people around them, seeing bad players as obstacles to their own success rather than allies that need a little more help, for many players, this is the only side of WoW they see. :/

This is just personal, but I’ve been playing alliance since retail and made a horde character a while ago just to try. It literally took 10 dungeons before I switched back, geez.. the toxicity because a tank was slow or someone died stupid ways was crazy.

Are you aware of newcomer chat? new players chat defaults to newcomer chat until they reach level 40.

I've never had a quest item be better than an equivalent level dungeon item, even if epic upgraded. The fact that the quest items (almost always) don't have secondary stats really hurt them. I ain't giving up 20 haste and crit for 2 stamina and intelligence.

I have to say that this series is such a fun one, thank you for doing this!

This was chill. Nice to get new ideas for pvp twinking as well, from all the gearing

So i was playing a fury warrior then decided ok dont like this i was 80 by then and switched to prot and moutain thane i run through the dungeons 95% of the time no one died and then a dungeon where no one died i get harassed called a retard and thats when i finally said screw tanking let people wait or do delves if they want to treat people like shit your “experiment” is skewed

I play the game like a single player RPG and with the inclusion of A.I. teammates for Delves and Instances and even letting us do some Raid Bosses... it's been even better. I do let others join in when I'm fighting a World Boss so they don't feel left out though. 😜

Jump into a Mythic plus or a current raid and start asking brand new questions and see how nice everyone is.

to be honest, you did play on the wrong fraction for this try. The alliance side, is far more toxic then the horde side.

Spoiler: You can. Except some dungeons where boss or general encounter mechanics prevent you from. But it's a fun ride.

Of course you can, and that's what killed wow somehow.

I have reached Wrath as a Paladin level 59 and this expansion is much harder than the others so far...

nintendo communities are the MOST toxic. Try splatoon or smash. Now that makes wow look like baby boomers
