Hi there, what if the local authority make it virtually impossible for the parents to work with them? I am ignored when I call my childrens socal worker and I am never called back, I'm not kept Informed and they break promises to my children and myself regarding getting contact etc their excuse is things change daily were very busy such as stating to my child we had 2 hour contact she promised yet she did not stick to it?

The local authority don't listen to you, you don't have a voice, I don't have a say I don't get regular updates, I don't know what the plan is or where my children are. All because I was assaulted in the same house they was in. I would never put my children in danger, never, everyone around us will say what a great mum I am. I was told this was a Civil matter, not for the police, even though I’d reported him for physical violence too. The police just weren’t interested in his coercive bullying and financial abuse… this was this year, 2021…the bank told me he was financially abusing me and they contacted a DV charity on my behalf without my knowledge…still no interest from the police.
