Dealing with high cost blockers is mainly by resting them with hody jones. This deck struggles heavily into 8 cost kid because it doesn’t run the Zoro secret and so it doesn’t really have an out for it other than playing hody to rest blockers and swing big at the kid. The deck relies pretty heavily seeing 1-2 hody for the harder matchups. Mainly green

It may not be the best build, but it’s good to see someone taking a deck they have a lot of fun with, using cards they enjoy like sogeking and succeeding at large events. Its a testament to their skill and love for the game

He got top 16 so it must be pretty good. He built the deck to beat some of the harder match ups. Lets see you get top 16 with your nami deck :P

Nami is a deck where you build it to your play style in my opinion. There is a “best build”, but there are a lot of tech choices that you can make for your play style.

I played those and dropping two on 10 with a developed board is pretty overwhelming. You're either draining hand, clearing bodies, or dropping into lethal range

I think it's wild he doesn't play it but it also makes sense not to. Most of the time it just gets removed as soon as possible

You can definitely run it, but it sort of competes with the Dragon/Ain slot in the deck. Cause if you replace it with something else you end up with a lot of bricks

i love the 7c kid personally, you can steal even curve from a leader that prefers it, ramp 4>5 and play kid next turn, being 7 means u can also minus don when youre at 6 curve if you wanna play Queen and you can still play kid after. i dont think ill ever take him out of my deck

Kid at 3 is a must

If I was seeing a lot of Enel, I would definitely run the 2c 2k Sanji. Take life to get more resources and then you also have a body for the early pressure. Generally for Enel, I like to leave them at 2 life so they dont get much value from their Yamato or Ace. Lucci is such a tough match up because they have so much removal, so I try to defend my bodies by countering out if they swing into them whenever possible.

Lucci still had rebecca and kaku in hand so it didnt matter in the end. But yea definitely still a play to do to maximise don when trying to go for game
