ich schreibe lieber auf deutsch, mein englisch ist nicht so gut ;-) Ich habe Boomer live gesehen, vor zwei Jahren auf dem Country- und Linedance Festival in Güllesheim im schönen Westerwald in good old germany - es war ein mega geiler Auftritt und eine tolle Show - wäre schön, wenn er mal wieder übern großen Teich kommt - kann ich jedem nur empfehlen, dann in sein Konzert zu gehen oder zu dem Festival wo er singt ;-)

I’ve listened to C&W all my life we have thousands songs….over the years one just seemed to get better and better pulled away from the crowd.......Waylon, Sammy, Dwight, Merle, Conway, George, Willie, Clint....they're all greats...but Hal's got the extra note in his message...

I do not have Stephen's version of this song and I have a number of his CDs. I highly respect Stephens music and miss him. As for music I rarely think of who is better, instead I reflect of the interpretation of the song. Having heard Hal's version live I know I like the song. Would love to hear Stephen's and will see if it is on youtube.
