Good question, sorry I didn't explain it in the video. It's because when you go into demon form you get the "Exploitation Strike" ability which makes you deal more damage per hit and heals you for 5% of the targets max hp!!! So, if we stack buff duration you get that buff longer and heal throughout the entire fight.

It makes for some fun experiences but yeah don't love all the teaming... except against rangers lol!

Yeah I always bring in a crystal sword because there are so many high pdr builds right now! And I think it does but not 100% sure. I've actually been trying to test it but it's difficult to track accurately because you loose hp while in demon form. But pretty sure it does but from my tests not a crazy amount difference. @@LuminousZeal hell yeaaah. I'm still destroying people tho, the kit is just more expensive (got up to 160 health with 322 move speed and hella true, will and action speed). The new sovereign blade is pretty sick, with 2% additional move speed, you should give it a try

That's why I don't like to run soul collector so I don't feel bad about going between forms and losing stacks! But yeah most people smartly just run away which is why I need so much move speed! Hope you enjoyed the video and good luck in the dungeons!

Not really, they nerfed things in such a way that makes cheesing the crystal sword impossible. You can still run it, but you're not going to be getting any one shots. Melee lock as a whole is still somewhat viable as a fun pick rather than a competitive one. I run one sometimes with a 2h build.

Im still playing a lot but havent made a video in a while until today! It's viable but not meta, you can get a lot of strength for cheap with the warlock gear which is a huge plus

It can but since we stack magic damage it will increase the damage from the crystal sword. You can use the falcion and I do with some builds but because more people stack PDR magic damage is usually better
