Looks like you're using a monopole. I nice pan and tilt head will make everything look much better(er) regardless of how windy it is.

I'm close enough to YMMB to pick up the radio traffic from there. I go there to watch the circuit traffic every now and again. Great video thanks.

Thank you, yeah I am going to invest in a radio very soon. Got any suggestions on which one? I live in the chelsea Frankston area so kind of close to the airport so some days I just sit outside with Flight radar and my camera and take pictures and videos for most of the day

Thanks for sharing. I'm interested in doing some plane spotting at Moorabbin for a hobby. Were you within perimeter of airport or just outside at Centre Dande Rd?

Thank you and yes I sit just outside of the airport but if you camera is small enough you maybe able to slide the camera through the fence so the bar of the fence don’t show up in any of you photos or video but that is completely up to you

Thanks for posting. I spent 1000's of hours instructing there and its horrible how much of the land has been sold off to Non Aviation so that the airport is only a fraction of what it used to be. The management and government are historically corrupt. The charges for use are typical of the Australian anti-aviation mind set thats resulted in the slow death of GA in Australia. Its shocking to see the rates about twice that of other countries.

Yeah I completely agree with you walking around the airport is really hard because it is all factory’s. There also used to be a park next the airport that got demolished the whole area in it self need a big upgrade because most of the actual aviation buildings are all overgrown or board up with a for sale because the government hate aviation

They are both private and student pilots the ones with CAE on the tail are all students and any learn to fly plane are students (they are the main company that run out of Moorabbin) but then the rest are mainly privately owned planes

Went to the museum with my friends when it was practically emptied and pretended we were actual pilots in all the cockpits. Lost my friends phone then found it again but had an amazing day.
