You must be aware that the corruption and cover up my son‘s murder is throughout our nation and systemically criminal. It is as a result of Outside Unlimited Inc. owned by Joseph Patrick Medved and his mother Mary Ellen Medved and the criminal activity they are involved in. Medved continues to lie and intentionally tried to disturb the crime seen as my son lay crushed to death underneath Medveds Bobcat tractor that didn’t have a back up alarm. The MDSP actually let him commit this felony and he has never been arrested or charged. His company was a cover for many criminal activities and organized crime. Any of you who know this man, golf with him, dine with him or have business dealings with him -BE AWARE; HE IS A LIAR, A THIEF, A MONSTER, AND A COWARD. How dare he touch my son. He should be in jail along with his patsy, Mary Ellen Medved. This landscaping company did jobs with federal agencies, state agencies, judges, constellation energy, the White House, and he is not a federal contractor. He is a private business owner. He also had employees that worked for him and federal agencies simultaneously. Jeff Farrar is one of them. But he has gotten away with murder and many other horrific crimes. I am far from done, and there is not one thing about this evil person that scares me. He is going to be held accountable and so is Paul Christopher Godwin who murdered my son. Medved knows Godwin murdered my son and continues to cover up for him. He also has the Maryland State police in his pocket and says that he owns Carroll County. I will not continue to be ignored and beaten down by political public servants who are on the take and only care about greed and power. Transparency and accountability are vital in our country and we must speak up and try to find someone who will do their jobs and, arrest in charge these evil wrongdoers.

​As a Tlingit storyteller, I've found this to be a touchy subject to talk about among the Tlingit people of southeastern Alaska. There are some Tlingit legends of the kushtaka (Kóoshdaa káa in accepted Tlingit spelling) yet growing up I had heard a few dozen more which we've to date, not translated into English but perhaps one day. Many a Tlingit will talk freely of Bigfoot and perhaps even relate a story or two of encounters with Bigfoot but the moment you bring up the kushtaka (kóoshdaa káa), a nervous hush can fall upon the room. Through the years, I've heard so many reports by those who have encountered something which they find hard, if not impossible; to explain away. Many of these were by non-natives who had no idea of the legends of the kushtaka. Even as I write this, I look at the scribblings of differential equations on my dry erase board and reassure myself that it was just the wind knocking something against the wall of my house. What are kushtaka? Nephilim? Fallen angels? Doppelgangers on steroids? To be honest, I don't know. What I do know are the legends and the enounters which I've heard through the years. The encounters haven't stopped.
