@@logmastersrestorations yes. I'm closing on a beautiful log cabin next week and it needs to be stained. There are 4 logs that are being replaced because the previous owner did not have gutters and water drained on the area where the logs cross at the corners and wore rhe wood down. Fortunately it was only in 1 area and a small section, 4 to 6 logs and it's just the ends that are being replaced. After that's replaced I need it stained. @@Al-Gore-ithm feel free to send the cabin realtor listing and any pictures of the cabin issues not on the listing to [email protected]. We highly recommend getting certified LOG HOME INSPECTOR verses the home inspector. They cost a little more, if any, but they are way more detailed than a home inspector. Home inspectors are not certified to inspect a log homes stability. They can tell you where they see stuff but aren't trained to know the differences. We use InterNACHI and suggest from the advanced search options additionally choosing Thermal Imaging and WDO certification.
