If someone has this issue CHECK YOUR POWER CORD I. had this exact issue and it would turn on for a second and then turn off after a few seconds out of ideas I then tried using my old Xbox’s cable and it turned on no issues!

One other thing you can do is get a vacuum and vacuum the holes I have not done that for years and when I did it I could see in between a big ass Dust Bunny come out like gray cotton

Just open the power and clean it with a pump or spray can and put it back together it fixed it not turning on for me but if not buy a new power supply.

So my power box is on and the light is orange. The light has never been off. But when I turn on power it just shuts right back of with in 3-5 seconds

I'd always have my brother help me with this type of shit but every time I have problems with my Xbox, he isn't home for a few days. It's so bad that the day this happened his girlfriend fell off a horse and ended up in the hospital. I genuinely think I'm cursed or something.

Halo 5 edition xb one was acting up, followed the steps and it worked, mahalo, aloha. (I also used a power brick from a working xbox one to test it and it still would turn on for a second and turn off, I was able to switch back to the old brick after)

I miss gaming in the 80s, hardware was way more efficient
