This was the PERFECT Sega Genesis game. 10/10. The variety and sheer FUN of playing this game , had such good times as a kid playing this in 1995 !

I hated the vibe of this game. It was very antagonistic having all the friendly toys from the movies as enemies and also every level fighting buzz light year for some reason

I totally forgot about this game! Parents mentioned it off hand as a game I used to love as a kid. Super nostalgic seeing it again and slowly remembering it! Forgot how different and interesting each level was- I used to get genuinely excited with each new level.

Second half honestly what happened to the Wire? that late game push from Widnes should never have been allowed. Infact, this whole mwatch was a devastating embarrassment

First half was shockingly poor, wire played terribly especially against a second rate team like widnes, too many missed opportunities and gave widnes too much, embarrassing

I always said that the first game I've beaten without any walkthrough and/or cheat was Spider-Man on PS1. But eventually I remembered that I was wrong. It was this one. The Toy Story game on Genesis/Mega Drive.

Best graphics of the era

I love how the movie presents Buzz as kind of a blowhard but Woody as the real dickhead who won't just be his friend, but the game is like "nah fuck Buzz, he's a terrifying monster that lives under the bed. Kill him, hit him with the car, throw tires at him." And wow, after watching that whole playthrough, I'm convinced I've never gotten this good at ANYTHING since I was like 6 years old. How did I do this as a stupid little kid who couldn't color inside the lines? If I put the amount of effort I must have put into beating this game into my career, I'd be a millionaire.
