Where can you buy a national resonator uke?
@PhilDoleman3 күн бұрын
@AdamBHarrisHarpist They're not easy to get. Try and find a National dealer (someone like Catfish Keith), or keep an eye out for used ones. There are two 'eras', the original Nationals, and then 'National Resophonic', who revived the company in, I think, the 90s. Mine is one of the latter. Finally, you can go straight to National. It really depends on where in the world you are.

Wow, the transition to clawhammer is so nifty. I have been searching the Phil Doleman archives to three-finger style. Did you do a lesson on three-finger?
@PhilDoleman16 күн бұрын
No, I've not - I don't really consider myself a good three-finger player, I know a lot of banjo players who are all much better than me!

Inspired by a Phil Doleman short on Cripple Creek played in two styles and adapted this tune to clawhammer. It seems to work but I still haven't managed to achieve the fiddle speed.
