Good morning guys, a beautiful video as always from you and so well presented. Breathtaking is what this place is like you said. Cameron Lake is really beautiful with the snowy mountains framing it, wonderfulnatural beauty. The trees are so pretty, shame to hear about the fires and interesting where you pointed out where the fires stopped. A lovely place to walk and that deer was calm with you 😃 So nice to see some snow as well. The viewing platform was great and good that you could learn about the history significance of the border there. You had gorgeous views as you drove. That's a fantastic place 🙂👍~ Anna

Thank you, Anna, for your lovely comments as always. We were quite surprised by this gorgeous little lake and scenery. I think the snowy peaks of the surrounding mountains really enhanced the experience. The very tame dow was very cute, and she seemed to like the girls singing a song from the 'Sound of Music' movie to her ❤️. The drive back to town and the viewpoint over the lake of the Prince of Wales hotel on the bluff was a great send-off when leaving the area. It was a great place to visit, indeed. Nice little drive to reach the trail of the lake . The colors are very beautiful. Such a lovely lake the mountains surrounding are amazing. Geese that deer wasn’t afraid of you …he is used to people I think . He was beautiful 🤩 It’s so much fun to encounter wildlife like this . I love to speak to the wildlife also …recently we had around our house a nice fox 🦊 we where hiking around and met him on the street he was coming from the park down the street and I started to speak to him …he stopped and his ears were moving while listening to me …he was so nice and then he left slowly crossing the street and headed towards a backyard and then in the woods. So nice to see the lake and mountains when you were coming back …the colors are stunning 🤩 and the Prince of Whale from afar looks amazing. @SergeCousineau Merci Serge❤️. It was a nice little hike and we were lucky to be able to do it as we had big rains 🌧 the previous day shown in my previous video to the bear hump. That cute dow was not scared at all and you are right, she must be used to people. The girls were singing to her ( a song from the 'Sound of Music ' with Julie Andrews & Christopher Plummer). Yes, Tori and I were goosing around 😂. I just got into Calgary about one hour ago and I am staying at a bnb because I don't want to risk it at night with all the elks and moose in rut atm. As it is, there was an accident on the road on the way to the bnb with a big moose killed by a car 😥. Have a great weekend and I will facetime you Sunday. Hugs and kisses to you and Helene

Belle randonnée le long de ce lac majestueux avec ses montagnes environnantes! Je prendrais bien n’importe quelle maison le long du lac 🤪 🤩 On se fait arroser Laurie …Lol!🤪 La chute était très jolie 😍 on se tanne pas des regarder! Bonjour Serge. Merci ❤️ 😘. Oui, c'etait tres pittoresque et la marche le long du rivage etait tres joli surtout avec les vues sur les Rockies au bout du lac. La chute etait tres belle et presque au centre ville.oui, les filles m,ont bien arrose avec une eau bien fraiche 🤣😋. Je ne suis pas a Golden encore. Je pars le 4 Octobre jusqu'au 23. Oui, j'ai du pain sur la planche pour un quinzaine de jours 😵🤪. Grosses bises a toi et Helene et bon weekend. ❤️😘🥰

Bon matin Karen et Laurie Le lac et les montagnes avec l’hôtel Prince of Whale est magnifique 🤩, un endroit que nous n’avons jamais visité .La pluie de deux jours auparavant était sûrement pas le bienvenue autant que le soleil l’aurait été mais ça ne vous a pas empêché de faire certaines activités. Un bon repas au Royal Stewart était sûrement le bienvenue… une belle brioche en forme cœur ❤️ avez-vous pris du champagne 🍾 avec ça ? 🤪. Magnifique vue depuis la salle à manger du lac et les montagnes. Finalement vous avez eu du beau temps et vous en avez bien profité en allant faire la randonnée de Bear’s Hump , il y avait beaucoup de mouflons Canadien le long du sentier dont un en particulier qui aurait bien aimé te chargé 😳 fallait garder nos distances🤪 Superbe randonnée dans un paysage enchanteur mais qui a été transformé par les feux de forêt malheureusement mais c’est la vie ! Une chance qu’il avait sauver l’hôtel et le village ! J’adore voir la neige dans les montagnes et la verdure au bas , vous étiez dans un couloir venteux et froid à te voir te frotter les mains 🥶 Les petits amis à Karen étaient au rendez-vous…Lol! 🐿️ Tori a sûrement aimé ses vacances avec vous au Canada 🥰 Très belle vidéo Laurie 😉👍 On vous fait la bise et vous souhaite un beau weekend 👩❤️👨🥰🥰 Hélène et Serge 👩❤️👨🌈⚜️

@@SergeCousineau Merci Serge. Nous avons eu de la chance ce jour la avec une belle journee ensolleillee pour la randonnee car la journee d'avant etait vraiment pluvieuse comme tu as vu😥. Consolation en allant manger au high tea 😅. Le Bear's Hump etait tres venteux et I'll faisait assez froid meme au soleil sur les hauteurs avec le vent qui venait des glaciers en passant sur le lac glacial. Nous etions content de voir autant de mouflons sur la piste meme si un etait de mauvaise humeur quand j'ai voulu le filmer. Je n'ai pas insister et j'ai degage vite fait. Les vues au sommet etaient superbes mais venteux, mieux que de la pluie, c'est sur😉. Les feux de foret en 2017 ont fait beaucoup de degats mais comme tu dis, c'est la vie. J'espere que Helene et toi allez bien et il faut vraiment faire un facetime bientot. Grosses bises et a bientot 😘🥰

Oh no looks like you guys have been missing out thanks to the rain too but wow that high tea looked amazing! Lovely blue skies on this trail just stunning 🤩 just love lake views surrounded by mountains! Does look a tad chilly! Loved seeing more of you guys on this and great info on the history of the area so sad to hear of the disruption. Gosh we want to visit Canada so bad! We celebrate our 10 yr anniversary this coming Tuesday and was gonna visit Canada but opted for 2 European holidays this year! Spain in June and looking forward to Italy end of September so we love watching you guys coz we visit Canada from the comfort of home so thank you ❤ have a great weekend and stay awesome 👍

@GENerationXplorers Thank you, Nick and Jill, for your lovely comments. You are right, it was quite windy, so much so Karen got nearly knocked over by a strong gust near the edge of the cliff. Pretty scary 😨. Lucky she wasn't too close to it. The trail was really nice with lots of wildlife and great vistas. We did miss out on a couple of trails due to the heavy rain the day prior and were able to do a couple the day after this one that I will upload soon. Congrats on your 10-year anniversary. Ours is tomorrow (08/09) and it will be our 23rd year. Have a great time in Italy 🇮🇹 😀. Looking forward to your uploads. Have a great weekend.

Hi both, you really do find the best places to show us and always explain sooo well. This UNESCO National Park is really beautiful with the gorgeous Bear Hump trail you were on. Those mountains are very pretty and that Prince Of Wales Hotel was so lovely nestled at the foot of the mountains. Shame that the water cruise and the Red Rock Canyon hike got rained off as well as the other ones 😯Poor sheep in the rain but it must have been lovely to see them on your hike ... The high tea looked amazing and good news the next day with that sun 🌞...perfect for a walk, and the views from high up of the lake were stunning but what a shame about the wind. It was very sad to see the result of the 2017 wildfires, good that the hotel was OK though. The animals you encountered were adorable and we would have loved this hike and area. Thank you Anna 😊. We were lucky on that day that we could at least get to do a hike. And a great hike it was with the views and wildlife. The wind was quite the thing on that day and bitterly cold at the summit coming from the nearby glaciers and the lake. The impact of the 2027 Kenow wildfires was devastating, but as nature would have it, it won't be long until it is totally rejuvenated. The township and hotel narrowly escaped destruction due to a sudden change in wind direction. Thanks again for your lovely comments as always and have a great weekend ahead with Alf and your family.

Hi both, I'm back ! Loved the look of your drive, the Canadian Rockies do look stunning and you had a peaceful drive to the National Park. Those Lundbreck falls were gorgeous, total water therapy ! The downtown part with its quaint buildings and eateries looked so nice and the drive with the view of the snow capped mountains was great to see. Waterton Park viewpoint panoramic view was magical and I love the way that you narrate and explain these places so well Laurie, all very relaxed 👏 The village at Waterton Park was adorable with its pretty buildings. The Prince of Wales hotel looked a beautiful place to stay, it was great to see around it and the views from your room were amazing, sorry you found no real pot of gold under the rainbow but the food looked delicious 😃 That was fabulous as always, I cant leave another like so I'll leave this 👏👏🙂~ Anna

The Waterton Lakes National Park is still recovering from the Kenow wildfire of 2017 that destroyed 38000ha or 80% of the Park's forests and vegetation, but it is such a wonderful place to visit nevertheless, and it is recovering nicely from that devastating event. The Prince of Wales hotel was something we wanted to experience for a while now, so with our daughter around with us, we decided to treat ourselves for 2 days. Certainly a beautiful place we were there three years ago after our trip to Yellowstone, 😮USA we came back by Alberta and we stopped there except we missed the LUNDBRECK FALLS VIEWPOINT which is very beautiful and looks like a little Niagara😂😂😂 the scenery is very beautiful between the 10th and 11minute. this hotel, you had give a beautiful view in the back of the river and the mountain thank you for sharing

Certainly is a great drive to Waterton Lakes and the falls were an unexpected experience and a hidden gem as from the road you wouldn't even know they were waterfalls there. Je suis déjà venue de Calgary pour me rendre à Fernie en Janvier 2016 et j’avais passé près des chutes "Lundbreck" sans le savoir …avoir sue je me serais arrêté…elle sont vraiment jolie ! La route avec les montagnes enneigées au loin est superbe , je trouve que c’est le plus beau temps de l’année soit au printemps où à l’automne pour les voir . Nous ne sommes jamais aller à Waterton Lake , c’est vraiment un endroit magnifique que j’aimerais bien visiter un jour . L’hôtel Prince of Whale a beaucoup de style et très jolie , vous vous êtes gâté en couchant là …vous faites bien 😉👍Votre chambre était très bien et le lobby était superbe 👍. La couleur de l’eau est d’un bleu incroyable 🤩 Est-ce que vous avez eu connaissance que les forêts autour avait déjà brûlé? Une chance que l’Hotel avait été épargné 🙏 WoW! Un arc-en-ciel double 🌈🌈 dans ce décor enchanteur 🤩 de toutes beauté! Le Jackpot 🎰 🤪 Très belle vidéo mon ami ! Nous recherchions sur google un endroit pour s'arreter et prendre un break, et les chutes etaient conseillees. Nous avons bien aime. Rester au Prince of Wales, Nous voulions faire ca depuis un moment, donc vu que Tori etait avec nous, on a fait ca. La section de route Pincher Creek -Waterton est vraiment superbe et moi aussi j'aime Juin avec les sommets enneiges etc. C'est dommage qu'il pleuve beaucoup en Juin dans les Rockies. J'espere que Helene et toi aller bien et il faudra faire un facetime bientot. Bises a vous deux et @+

Hi Laurie & Karen this was lovely to see enjoyed the driving and the view point was stunning! We really hope to make it to Canada one day! We had spoke about doing it this year for our 10 year anniversary but decided on 2 European holidays instead! We visited Spain in June and are booked to visit Lake Garda 🇮🇹 end of September! So we love coming along on your adventures and seeing the beautiful Canadian rockies and the lovely villages and lakes surrounded by those beautiful mountains! We did it really quickly in 2018, but because of the Kenow wildfires in 2017, most of the park was closed, so we thought we would visit again and do a bit more this time. Bonsoir karen et Laurie C’est une très belle vidéo qui nous montre bien Radium Hot Spring et Fernie. Ça nous rappelle de bons souvenirs, Je me suis baigné à Radium Hot Spring en janvier 2016 après deux jours de ski à Panorama …c’était tellement relaxant et soulageant 😌 ensuite nous avions poursuivi notre route jusqu’à Golden pour y skier 2 autres jours .Hélène et moi sommes passé aussi en 2018 lors de notre road trip quand nous étions en direction pour Fernie .Nous avions arrêté aussi aux chutes dans le Canyon Sinclair , c’est très beau 🤩 . C’était le fun de revoir le coin avec la lentille de ta caméra 🥰 Les cornes au rond-point n’existaient pas encore quand nous sommes passés…c’est un bel ajout au rond-point 👍 J’ai bien aimé la vue des montagnes quand vous vous dirigiez vers Radium Hot Spring, je ne les avait pas vue dans ce sens car nous arrivions de la route 93 en 2018 , puis en 2016 c’était nuageux quand nous arrivions de Panama . Je suis en amour avec Fernie …j’ai adoré cette ville en ski en janvier 2016 assez pour y retourner avec Hélène en 2018 . The Bridge Bistro à 11:42 en entrant à Fernie sur la gauche est un resto qu’on a bien aimé…j’y suis allé 2 fois ( 2016-2018) . Quand je suis allé skier mon ami et moi logions au Park Place Lodge . Vous logiez dans un très beau secteur du centre de ski Fernie , l’hiver c’est un hôtel Ski-in Ski-out , un endroit que j’aimerais beaucoup…Fernie un centre de ski que retournerais volontiers . Je me souviens d’avoir filmé cette route en 2018 il y a de magnifiques chalets en bois rond dans ce secteur. 🤩 Il y a une microbrasserie à Fernie …Fernie Brewing co. Ils ont de la très bonne bière 🍺 . Nous avions passé 4 jours à Fernie et avions monté sur la montagne en télé-siège et fait une randonnée c’était magnifique. Nous avions aussi visité Island Lake Lodge un endroit paradisiaque , à gauche 20:50 sur le chemin Mt Fernie Park road en entrant dans Fernie par le sud encore . Merci Serge❤️. Nous avons fait tout ca vite fait car Tori n'avait que 2 semaines pour faire beaucoup de choses et visiter au plus. Il est dommage que nous avons eu mauvais temps les premiers jours de notre periple et moi avec une infection des sinus et une bronchite. Pour filmer, c'etait assez agassant car nous avions les 4 saisons en un quart d'heure 🤪. Enfin, entre deux ondees, je faisais de mon mieux😂. Il est vrai que se baigner dans les sources thermales font du bien. Ca m'avait fait du bien aussi. Fernie est un tres jolie ville, est c'est dommage que le temps etait a la pluie car nous aurions fait plus. Nous avons manger a Nevados, un resto mexicain, pas loin de la Fernie Brewery dans la rue principale. Je doir retouner a Golden au mois d'octobre (sans Karen) pour tomber des arbres, faire une haie decorative en bois de chaque cote de l'entree du driveway, et nettoyer le jardin pour l'hiver. Donc du boulot 😵. Et puis quand je reviens,j'en aurais plus a faire avec le nouveau projet 🥴. Heureusement que je prend la retraite a la fin du mois 😆. Alors bise a vous deux, et il faut faire un facetime maintenant que vous etes rentres de vacances. 😘🥰❤️

@bartvoskulen3243 Thank you Bart for your wonderful comments and you are correct, we had a bit of mixed bag of cold, rainy and windy weather on our sightseeing road trip. Adelaide can get like this I agree, having been there a few times in the autumn and cooler months. Have a great weekend.

Hi both what lovely places around here that you visited. I loved where you drove and that sculpture of horns was fabulous, so big at 20ft high ! The Austrian style buildings were gorgeous and I really liked those Canyon walls near Radium Hotsprings. The waterfall was so beautiful and I would love to have joined you in the Radium Hotsprings, so relaxing looking and so blue :) Fernie looked nice and very quiet but then it was quite late and Sunday I think you said. Hope you enjoyed your dinner there. This was a great tour and so well explained by you 🙂👍~ Anna

As we had our daughter with us for a couple of weeks, we thought we'd explore the southern part of the Rockies that is seldom visited and a lot less touristy. Guys, finally I get to watch this uninterupted ! I would love that guided horseback ride in Banff and it was sooo good that your daughter could be with you too. Its such a stunning place and it looked really relaxing through the trees, the horses were adorable and well behaved 😃 and the views all around here were so beautiful. That looked idyllic. The panoramic views of the rockies were amazing. I can't leave another like but I'll leave this 🙂👏~ Anna

Hello Karen & Laurie 👩❤️👨 A nice horse ride !👍 Been looking at your hole video in three shots 🤪in the past 3 days WoW ! The Long Ranger 🤪 you are sure looking like him . Oh shit …your horse had to do something special I see …Lol! 😂 That was great seeing a white coyote never saw one like that and specially in Banff . The horse of the little girl wanted to leave the group …she must of been scared a bit , so the guide took the control on her horse I see . The guide sure talks a lots she must be out of voice after a week of work …🤪 Great horse ride , the view of the mountains was great and Spray river also , must of been a nice experience crossing the river 🥰 Love the smile of your daughter Tori at 46:45 she sure resembles you but she is much prettier 🤪Your daughter Tori made a great movie with your gopro 👍👏Nice seeing those 2 elks playing golf …Lol!😂Where you sneezing …??? lol! 😂😂😂 Love hearing the horses sneezing 🤪The second crossing of the river was quite large 👏Ah ! Bow Falls …so nice ! Must be nice walking with the horses there . Remember parking there to see the falls . Funny that the little girl horse wanted to eat grass suddenly . He sure is stubborn…second time ! The little girl finally had the control 🤪 Her horse sure made me laugh 😆 Nice picture of the three of you !🤩 The views at the Banff Gondola are so pretty and reminds us so much souvenirs 🥰🥰🥰 Nice filming 👍👏 You sure had a nice day and the weather seemed perfect! Love the snowy mountains tops . What a nice experience with your daughter Tori it must have been! On our side we are back from our road trip of 27 days in the Maritime since Saturday afternoon…home sweet home! Thank you Serge🥰. It was a great ride indeed, even for me, as I am not the best horse rider. This is why I delegated the filming to Tori who did a great job as I wanted to concentrate on steering my horse 😂. We liked it a lot and the guide girls were awesome. We had nice weather, so that helped too with the views along the way. Some of the horses were playing up yeah😄. Glad you and Helene had a great time in the Maritimes and I can't wait to see some footage soon❤️. We will do a facetime soon. Hugs and kisses to both of you 😘 💕 💖

Merci. Oui on a bien aimé la randonnée a cheval. C'etait super mais j'ai donne la camera a Tori car je ne suis pas très à l'aise avec les chevaux. Bises a vous deux.
